I have told you four times already. I need your address so I can find out how much shipping will cost.
-
The enclosure will be $225 if you only want the enclosure wrapped in carpet do not want the suede wrapped enclosure like in my signature. My email address is also in my signature. Shipping to Malaysia will be expensive as soon as I get your full shipping information I can give you a full quote with shipping. After you like the price I will draw a design for you.

http://www.evercoat.com/productDetail.aspx?pID=269 http://www.evercoat.com/productDetail.aspx?pID=303 These two products will help you on your next plastic adventure. The first can be used as a heavier lay-up and the second to do the finer finishing. They will help keep the seams you see around the inserted piece. Never use "bondo" on plastic as they have different expansion rates and will eventually seperate.

How good are SHURiKEN batteries?
Quentin Jarrell replied to jFreezy's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
They are good batteries. I run them as well. The are cheaper than most because they are owned by Metra and can take advantage of cheaper manufacturing coat due to their high volume. -

The easiest way to reduce weight would be to place you feet on a chair that is not directly under you.

Those boxes to the left are amps

That is retarded, their "incline pullup" is a row, that works a completely different muscle group

An update on what's going on with our subwoofers
Quentin Jarrell replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
Sure, motor is set in stone, however suspension compliances might changer ever so slightly as we are still working on a structurely sufficient aluminum cone and adding spacers between the spiders to help rocking due to the high coil and cone mass. But these are a good baseline. An update on what's going on with our subwoofers
Quentin Jarrell replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
Got a little update today on the Divine series of woofers today. (still waiting on spiders for our sq line) I don't think I stated before but the motor force factor is 376.18 BL^2/Re For the thermal rating, given it's a big 4" voice coil with aluminum former (big .9mm diameter windings- 19 AWG), and being we are using an aluminum cone we should have 2000W power handling and 10KW burst capability. I know 2000W sounds weak but this is due to the HIGH linear BL across it's stroke.(If this was a typical overhung motor it would need 3400w to achieve the same stroke. This is similar to the low RMS rating on the Brahma back in the day). This is a rating to XMAX NOT THERMAL. For the 15 you will want a 4 cubic foot enclsoure tuned to 35 hertz for a massive groundpounder( should handle 3,000 watts form 16 hertz on up). For a burp box around 8 cubic feet tuned to 55-60 hertz.(should handle 20KW both mechanically and thermally for a 3-5 second burp. 12" enclsoures will run around 25% smaller in volume. -
System for my Hyundai - Sundown,JL Audio, Crescendo, Audiocontrol, DEI
Quentin Jarrell replied to edouble101's topic in Build Logs
If you are using an epoxy resin it is going to depend on the type of hardener you have. They can range from 4:1 to 1:1 ratios. Epoxy resin produces a "prettier" layup and is normally used in vacuuming applications. Polyester is a cheaper material and is most commonly used. I use polyester on nearly everything and it runs me $100 per 5 gallons. The epoxy resin I use for carbonfibre and Kevlar accent pieces and it runs me about $80 per gallon with hardener. -

You want to use 1.5 to 2 percent mekp to resin -

You want to use a 100 percent polyester material. For some reason polyester resin does not harden as well on cotten. Most "car audio" stretching material is Alpine fleece. I use fleece from hobby lobby. At 3 bucks a yard off the discount rack you can get cheap. -
A lid(cover) for your bed, cut a hole in your bed and cab and have the system fire in to the bed. Also called a blow through. Much easier and more effective than what you are trying to do and you keep your whole back seat.
-
buy a lid and cut the wall.

Paypal, but let me get a sketchup and final price with shipping for you
-
You could go with birch. It would add $15 to the order. I can ship it through FedEx but it must be under 70 pounds. If we make from burch it'll be 50-60 pounds
-
The enclosure will be too heavy to send directly to your APO. If you have a FedEx location near you I can have it sent there and you can pick it up.
-
The enclosure will be $125 with full internal bracing and the flushed termial posts I do. I will have to call FedEx to get a rate to an APO but if you are on the west coast shipping sould be $50-$75

max deminsions? how would you like it wrapped? do you want a flushe baffle?

This is something I do not put up with in MY section. If you wish to pull business from me do so in an open forum section or through PM's this is not the place for it. OP Do you need a flushed baffel ? What is your maw demensions How would you like it wrapped? -
if you have 15 cubes then it needs to be 17" long to be 25 hertz. That is a really small port though.
