It'll work but this type enclosure isn't my type. Just like any other sub these will work in a wide range of enclosures. The soft parts aren't to spec I just used them to abuse test the coil and motor. But in a 2.5 cubic foot enclosure tuned to 20 hertz it gets pretty nasty for a "sq" sub. I'll have mire info in a few weeks when the correct parts arrive. In the mean time look at the other thread with the flex videos.

They are fairly decent. Good for factory replacements.

Remember these are 6th order bandpass so they are a little louder than a typical ported box. But they allow me to see what the coils and motors can handle. These are in no way "spl" sub either. After all they only have 15 Bl. My Devine series with 375 bl^2/re motor force factor will be geared for daily groundpounding. I had two goals for this line when I approached Dan. No. 1 sound as good and outperform a JL w6. No.2 be able to price these subs cheaper than a w6 while keeping dealer's margin higher than the JL. So what this means is the typical customer looking for a w6 or similar sub can buy a better sub at a cheaper price while the dealer makes more money than they would on the other sub.

Genesis motor coned to a 15" with same 500 watts in a 6th order bandpass same 10" in 6th order bandpass in a 2010 civic trunk. Again on 500 watts

If it the same series subs with identical motors and similar suspension compliances in separate boxes that have similar responses I highly doubt someone could say there is a 15 and a 12 in his trunk with out looking at them. I wouldn't do it, but I know I woulnt know the difference unless I was told.

Although it is a small enclosure if you can give me a Max height and max width I can make it as shallow as possible to save you a little trunk space. I agree, my Mids are crossed down to 55 hertz, I also like my subs in a .7 qtc ported enclosure with a f3 around 25-27 hertz but some woofers are just not designed for that.

tuning 34 hertz or lower will result in a saddle shaped responce curve from 40 to 100 hertz with a 1.25 db loss and no gain. Tuning to 40 herts will give a pretty flat responce down to 60 hertz with a nice little boost from 60 to 38 hertz. Because he wanted to save space I would go with a higher tuning. If space was not an issue a larger enclosure could easily compensate for the losses of a lower tuning.

I have worked up three different options for you. 1. sealed, my least favorite and personally would not do sealed for this sub. qtc .7 (flattest responce with most bass extension) .32 cubic feet with a f3 (3 db loss) @ 67 hertz. Using a larger sealed enclosure just results in a loss responce from above enclosure. 2. best sq ported enclosure with qtc of .7 (flatttest responce with most bass extension) .56 cubic feet tuned to 38.5 hertz with a f3 (3 db loss) @ 38.5 herts 3. typical daily ported enclosure 1.25 cubic feet tuned to 40 hertz with a f3 (3 db loss) @ 35 hertz and a 2 db gain @ 45 hertz As long as you don't want 45 degree corners (which you'll never hear the difference anyway with enough port area) eigther ported box will be 115 plus shipping and the sealed box will be 90 plus shipping.

He needs a gusset on that plate. And I would turn the voltage up on my mig welder to get better penetration. The bead should be concave not convex like in the photo.

I would go with the larger of the two 3.2 cubes @ 30 -6db @30 hz -3db @38 hz -1db @62 hz port 37.47" long 4 cubes @ 30 -6db@ 27.75 hz -3db @ 32 hz -1db @ 65 hz port 43.8" long neigther boxes have peaks just gentle roll offs.

I would care about theft, I have insurance for that. It would like to have it for my old lady. It would give her a little more time to get the .40 out of the center console. I would be concerned if their was an accident. It may affect how a first responder might get her out of the vehicle.

Don't cut out you normal routine completely. Bc you will get burned out. Just limit your fast-food and softdrink input. Look at bodybuilding. Com. They have a lot of helpful advice and small programs for people getting started.

I needed some air suspensions parts for a personal project and found it much cheaper to open an account with a supplier than to buy retail. So I now have access to a large aray of air suspension parts. I don't know very much about this area of expertise so I can't really recommend any specific product but if anyone needs anything I have access to most everything from valves, to 4 links, to pre fabricated sheet metal tubs and fender wells.

My distributor will not drop ship to you. So shipping would have to be paid twice. I would only be able to give it to you for a few dollars cheaper than other online prices. It would probally be better for you to buy online with someone who stocks the piece just in case something is defective on the kit or other problems occur, so you will becable to get a new piece quicker.

The divine will be just that. 33mm xmax at 70% bl. With 36 bl and a motor force factor of 370 bl^2/re. It's one of the strongest motors on the market. We will be using a 4" coil former with an aluminum cone to help with cooling.

Xbl does not make louder subs on less power it makes them as loud on less power. Again let's go back to the brahma, or the Tempest since most people remember them. They were just as loud as their competition's comparable subs in the day but they are known for using much less power. These subs aren't magical. They simply utilize their magnet force over more of their stroke than other topologies. A 20mm xmax, 15 bl overhung sub with the exact softparts will be as loud as a 20mm xmax 15 bl xbl sub. The xbl sub will just use less power to get there. Anyhow we frequent some if the shows and comps this fall to show what we have.
