In depth paper on Low Reluctance Return Path MMAG motors
Quentin Jarrell replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
This is one version I have already modeled. To my knowledge a motor force factor of 2,833 is a bit higher than most on the market. -

Nowhere near too good too be true. Wouldn't be patented if so. Some prestigious companies like Fishman use the technology. -
Is that gross or net? Either way, damn you work cheap. Net. Yah, compared to what an engineer makes in the US it's tiny What country?

That's got to be a typo...6.25 an hour?

Don't waste your money on foam tape. Go to lowes or Home Depot and get double sided duct tape.- 60 replies

its 10 turns per inch, and the chain sprockets are 2.25 inches per turn the chains are tensioned and the idler sprockets are also on "brakes" so that they dont freely rotate im looking at about 1/32 inch accuracy as it stands now, but im hoping to cut that in half with some new parts coming this week I assume thats's over 8 foot of travel?

Is that threaded rod or acme screw? What are you doing for lash? What's the lead accuracy and how are you compensating for it?

Destroyed...

Was it an agu fuse holder. Cheap agu fuses have bad soldered ends that cause heat build up making the fuse holders melt. -
We have BBQ'ed tuna sevaral times and it came out good. Google New Orleans BBQ shrimp. It's the same principle.

For example I have a 54kw generator for my house. If you convert watts to horsepower the generator would need a 868 horsepower motor however it runs off a 45 horse Perkins.

Same as an engine the crank isn't spinning at 25,000 rpm.

Let's say it's 300A @ 13v from the alt, that means 3900w. Let's round it off to 4000w and I think that means the alt needs will need to be turned by at least a 4kw motor. 4kw at a 110v plug = 36A draw. Do you typically have 40A 110v plugs in the US ? I'm assuming 100% efficiency and some rounding. And if the alt consumes less power than it produces, then I'm backing down. You can't make power out of nothing. You are forgetting about the gearing ratio. The motor doesn't have to spin at the same speed at the alternator.

Saturday? You got a commercial address?

I liked how this mustang came out too.

Look into coconut milk. I've been drinking it lately and prefer it as an alternative to drinking a whole gallon of milk a day. It tastes pretty good too. So far my favorite is coconut milk with mango. coconut milk is a natural laxitive
