Ethos motors have been ordered.
Quentin Jarrell replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
Don't assume I chose the name as a play off of Mark and Arron. I highly doubt anyone will confuse DSS for SSA. Mobile Sound Solutions have been around a lot longer than SSA and no one I know confuses Mark and Arron for Brian Scmitt. And Direct Audio Solutions is a registered name in Louisiana. It was actually my first choice. -

The Feds didn't have a problem with it. And the name explains the company. I sell car audio solutions directly from the manufacturer to the consumer. -

No 10's on this order. But they would be around 7.75 inches mounting depth. The motor itself is 125mm tall. -

Looking at around 90 days till everything comes in. So I'll say ETA will be 2nd week of March. I will only have 12's and 15's avaliable for this first run. On Jan 1st I am going to start a pre-order. The below is Shipped pricing to the lower 48. It'll save you about 40 bucks off or normal pricing plus shipping. The 12 weighs roughly 65 pounds. 12"= $290 15"= $300 -

Yep and PM'd me to remove info from his threads. Seems to me he's just interested in promoting his you tube channel rather than informing the site. -

Imagine this as a panel and u got urself a mini grave digger. It's a bit over ur budget though. -
By outputs you mean RCA output then it's just an internal y splitter to send signal to another amp.
-
Their specs are so close you wouldn't notice a difference.
-
The cheapest route would be to attach a PAC SNI-15 to your speaker outputs on the headunit and use y adapters at the high amp. Or use two PAC SNI-15's and run two sets of rca's to your amp.

This was 4th order bandpass for two 12's. (4th order has to do with roll off, not a type of enclosure). Customer seemed to be happy

This is the same piece after a light sanding preped for primer. Only about two tablespoons of filler was applied to the entire piece.- 60 replies

There is a right and wrong way to lay fiberglass. You don't see boats made from lots of torn up pieces. You must wet out the mat before applying it. This pie e for example is 3 layers of mat. No filler just a light spray of cabosil.- 60 replies

3500 watt electrical

Those gauges must be adjusted. However newer gm and dodges idle that high. Higher voltage, more spark, less fuel needed, better fuel economy. -

Before you add your fleece if you run a 1/4" rabbet around your panels it'll make for a stronger bond and it'll allow you to keep the glass off of the top of your window area. That way you don't ruin the nice routing and it'll make it quicker to finish by minimizing filler. Never mind saw the rabbet in above pics. Guess you just haven't trimmed the fleece in the pics yet. By the way if you haven't gotten to the glass yet, use one solid piece instead of tearing your matt into pieces. It'll make it stronger and smoother. If your top layer is 1/2 ounce Matt topped with surface veil you should only need less than 1/2 cup of body filler to get that panel ready to wrap or paint.- 60 replies
