High Excursion Shallow Mount Neo
Quentin Jarrell replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
Because of it's strength Neo's flux naturally wants to turn back onto itself. It is actually less reluctant for neo to jump back through the air rather than traveling through a back plate then pole then top plate like in a traditional motor. This is why the typical way neo is used by a number of so called extremely strong Neo motors is extremely lossy. If you look at other designs like the Critical Mass UL or the B-Hive that Thilo Stomplers uses they have the capability to be just as strong if not stronger using much much less Neo. The below pic will better help understand the gap that the coil travels through. In the center you can see the flux field is pointed out showed by the arrow. They then turn back into the top and bottom portion of the motor in the opposite direction, again showed by the arrows, creating the motor breaking. I'm not a IB guy and honestly don't know much about it, however a 12 inch model could look like this. Re 2.05 Fo 29.7 qts .7 qes .778 qms 7 vas 60 liters bl 8.9 xmax 25mm spl 84.97 @ 1w That should result in an F3 @ 30 hertz with a Qtc of .7 Again I don't know much about IB but I could easily change parameters to meet the needs of the customer. I'd assume with nearly twice the xmax of the SI (although this sub would be deeper, limited by basket depth) It should produce pretty decent output. -

Above is the magnetic field that the coil travels through. At around 27mm of travel each way the ends of the coil hits a point (zero on the graph) where the flux field reverses and this magnetic reversal continues to increase to become the equilvilant opposite of the original BL. This is effectively a motor break that is as strong as the drivers motor force. -
Because I work in the Maritime industry I claim a per diem also. It's 87 bucks a day in my area.

I claimed almost 80 thousand miles on my taxes this past year.

The pup's massive magnetic force must have disrupted the postal worker's pacemaker and delayed shipment

NEW BADASS PROTOTYPE DUE IN OCTOBER 2013
Quentin Jarrell replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
Thanks everyone we are super excited. We are both 28 and have been together for 12 years so I guess it's about time. Now I just have to sell a few subs so we can afford some diapers. -
good sign. It means high grade steel

Oh, that's illegal in most leagues. We always had a seamstress custom fit our equipment. It's impossible to get a suit or shirt to fit right from the factory Yeah, extra cloth or material to change the way it fits.

I used Inzer single ply poly for USAPL and INZER 3 ply canvas and denim for WPO

Padding in shirts?

I have a few national meets under my belt. I'd love to get back into training, I've got people in my area with tons of records in both raw and equipped leagues. I have a couple myself but I just can't justify the time it takes to get back to the top 10 in the world where I was at before.

Best Car alarms ?

Vipers cosmetically have the best remotes -
Suits and shirts will help you gain a bit. But everyone else will be using them so the gain is mute. The typical noob will not just throw on a shirt and lift. A shirt it designed to keep your elbow in and keep your shoulders tight. And they have absolutely zero help when locking out they actually impede lock out. When wearing shirts your mechanics are completely different from a "standard" bench. It forces you to use your pecs and triceps rather than your delts.

I like to wear DR Martins laced boots. I prefer the ankle support over a slip on as I typically climb through/on grain and on barges. But I go to a foot doctor (forget the medical term) and had custom insoles made for about 250 bucks. The did a 3d scan of my feet and made them with a 3d printer. They have outlasted two pairs of boots. night and day difference from anything else I've ever worn.

alternators
Quentin Jarrell replied to OuTLaWeD's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I have a Toyota Matrix and was looking for a bolt on HO. I have called everyone in the business and they all told me they could help me out and everything would be perfect no problems what so ever, do rated power, even after I told them the car idles under 800 rpm. Then I called Mechman, the guy I spoke with was very up front and told me I was gonna have issues. (no shit, I knew this before I called all the other yahoos but I wasn't gonna tell all of them that this wasn't my first rodeo. I like to act ignorant to see if I can sniff out any bullshit from any company I deal with.) He did however spend the time to give me deminsions on an alternator that I could fab my own bracket for, and he was even up front about the fact I would have a check engine light on. So the moral of the story is after talking with all the other dipshits I wouldn't hesitate buying an alternator form Mechman, which I will be doing in a few weeks. -
I like RADA knives. Very Cheap and their filet knives are very flexible. Make sure you get one of their quick edge sharpeners. I just threw a few of those away. You can't cut butter with them.Maybe you just need to find a redneck around your parts to teach you how to sharpen a knife.
