I think I broke it....please advise

Yes get a base reading anywhere above 28 hertz. If it is 12db/octave the voltage should be cut in half every 3.5 hertz below 28 hertz. -

It doesn't matter. As long at the filter is working it is perfectly fine. If that amp is 1,500 watts and has a 28 hertz 12db/octave it would only be giving the sub 375 watts at 20 hertz. No where enough to bottom the sub free air. The obvious next step would be to use a DMM and test tones to verify the filter is working. -
Sundown Audio SA-8 V2 D4 vs. Digital Designs DD1008

And it's gonna take more power to be as loud with smaller drivers. Two 500 watt 8s are only gonna hit half xmax on 500 watts. One 500 watt 12 will get full excursion on 500 watts. The 12 would still be louder. You have to add power to compensate for the extra Cms -

Bc vas determines box volume. The box for the same cone area will still be smaller a d the port will still take up more volume. -
Gots a uhaul class one hitch. Magnetic ride adjustable shocks for the xmax and magnesium wheels for extra brake cooling.

Box and port ratios still apply. Still no better. -

That's only 4 hertz lower than tuning. It's not gonna hurt a thing. The sub will not completely unload right below tuning. There is a reason why the filter is sloped and doesn't cut off like a switch. -

And there is no way in hell the DD is 33mm one way linear. There is barely that much distance on the spider landing. -

The sa sub has a great deal more linear excursion. A ported 8 never makes sense when you have room for a larger OD sub bc of port length. Due to the necessary port area for the given box volume an enclosure for an 8 almost always ends up being larger than an enclosure for a 10 -
Ralph Guilles said that it only costs ~15 bucks more to do the interior on a Ferrari vs their other vehicles.

Looks like it could be fun to try, but I wouldn't drop 17 k on it.J Not a bad price when you consider a McMillan will set you back about 15

All you need is a dmm and test tones to set it. -

The box is going to have roughly a 4th order roll off as well. It takes a lot to damage a high damped driver below tuning. There are plenty of subs out there that take 1,500-3,000 watts to hit xmech free air on a Klippel and show no signs of damage. -

If the spider has came in glued from the former then yes it will clap. You can play it free air on low power to verify. -

I'm in the process of making a users manual for the Ethos line. In the process of gathering all the technical information I tend to leave out the obvious. So help me out by listing everything, no matter how obvious, that you would like to see in the users manual. THANKS

^ That the cap is worthless. If you are tight on cash look into purchasing wiring from Knu Conceptz.
