  1. hey everyone, I have an Fi Q12, in a 2.2 cuft ported box with a memphis prd 1000.1, but i really want more truck space. So i was going to just get a 1.2 cuft box for my Q12. But the new mag seems very interesting. Will the new mag preform better with a memphis prd 1000.1 and 1.1 sealed box then the Fi Q12? Sell my box and fi Q12 to my friend who is in love with my set up and get a 1.1 cuft box and get the new MAG? or. Keep the Q12 and get a 1.2 cuft box thanks

  5. hey everyone! Sorry for another "Vs." thread, but i would deeply appreciate any help I dont know which amp to get? the memphis prd 1000.1 or the sundown 1000D, what are some pros and cons of each amp, and what amp will suit me best with a FI Q12 with a 2007 honda accord with stock power Thanks
  6. Awesome reply, so sundown is a cleaner, more efficient amp? If so, then i am going to go with them.

    FIQ12 VS. TC2000 12"

What is a better SQ (In your opinion) sub, Fi audio Q12, or TC-9, Tc-2000, All using memphis 16-PRD 1000.1, in a 2.25 cft ported box tuned to 32 Hz, all using the same every thing. Ok and my second question is which one will get the loudest while still maintain great Sq. Thanks because i really dont know any thing about TC

Sell fi audio Q, for New Mag?

X2 I would exhaust all options before spending more money. But then again the new mag does look nice. Well it wouldn't cost me any money, i would sell my Q and box for the same price as a new mag and new box

Sell fi audio Q, for New Mag?

awesome i've heard great things about this sub... Im excited to hear more reviews! Will the new mag out preform the Q overall, using the same setup (Memphis 1000.1 amp, 1.1 sealed box etc...) Also a little off topic, should i get a custom built sealed, or should i just get one off ebay? I found one that is big enough and fits my sub well on ebay for about 55 shipped i asked this on a different forum but got mixed answers. thanks for all the help!

Sell fi audio Q, for New Mag?

well maybe this post is a little pre mature, cause demin your right i should test my Q out in a smaller sealed box before i sell it, also the mag isn't even out yet. So i will revive this thread a little later, but if you want keep the answers coming

    FIQ12 VS. TC2000 12"

Sorry to bring up an old thread, Is Tc sounds still around i cant find their website?
  15. Sorry, but i dont know the terminology for it but it the big ol rubber ring, and it has very small scratches on it, and it is thinner in this one spot. It still has plenty of rubber, and there is no hole yet, but i am afraid it may rip when i play it loud. I dont know how it got like this, but it have happened when i moved. So should i replace now it or what until it completly rips to replace it, also which one would you recomend, and how would i install it. I have a Fi Q12, and a memphis 16-PRD 1000.1, all in a 2.25^3 cuft custom box ported to 32 hz.
  16. ok, so i patched up the rip and it went really well, i used contact cement and i just shmeared a thin layer over the area. I made a really solid, durable sealant, while still being very flexable.
  17. yea will do, i am going to use either rubber cement or liquid nails, but iheard that both work great. I will just post in this thread when i'm done
  18. great if nail polish doesn't hurt it, then rubber cement will be fine
  19. would rubber cement work, or would it be corrosive to the foam?
  20. thank you very much!! and can you send me a link to what you would recomend, because i know there are tons of differant silicone sealant so which one would be best for what i need
  21. Ok thanks, but what should i do it i does get a hole in it (even though it probaly wont happen) and no it is not rubbing any thing, i think it happened when i moved it from my bro's car to mine. Some people on other sites, told me to use speaker gule, shoe goo, or black electrical tape if it ever does rip how do those thing sound? thanks C
