Ok well getting ready to start work on my van and looks like im going to have to make a few slightly changes. The plans were as followed Midbass 60-100hz : Sundown Audio SD-1 10" x4 Mids 100-2500hz : PHL 2002 x2 Mids/Highs 2500hz + : Image Dynamics CD1E Mini x2 Mids/High Amps : Sundown 100.4 x3 (Bridged To Each Driver) Here is the problem, i dont have the space under the dash or anywere to mount my ID horns. I deffintly want to keep the midbass. So what i need is suggests for mids and highs drivers. What im looking for is an extremly loud and clean sound mids ands highs set up to keep up with my wall. Power will be coming from sundown amps. Corey

I mean they dont have to sound absolutly great in sq, just looking for something smooth and not harsh but still loud enough to keep up with my wall. Havnt done much with diy comps so im not sure what drivers to choice. I mean they dont have to sound as good as my rainbow cmx did or anything. Guess its just hard to explain. Corey

Thats just your personal experience ...... I sent a sub back to get warrentied, they recieved the sub (have a tracking number confiriming this) fews day pass i call and they tell me they never got it. I give them the tracking number and they look it up and give me the run around. I call the next day they said a new sub has been shipped, i said cool and asked if they had a tracking number. Long story short, they clam they sent me a sub which i have yet to get and they have no tracking number confirming it was actual shipped. ED Customer Servies FTL < < < just my personal experence tho.

The under side of the dash on the newer astro are very very narrow. My id horns are over 5" too long. Corey

Take the number and divide it by 6.25 and you will have the sd in "^2 Corey

R/F Symmetry EPX2 w/ 28 band card

Honestly yes..... Looking for something loud and super clean sounding (for the level atleast). The reason i say this is i cant stand the sound of eminece speakers, loud and harsh. Budget is ~ $800 Corey

Cool, i would be down for some 8's. Always had a soft spot in my heart for 8's . I would deffintly be down for ordering a bunch. Coil Size? Corey

This is an option I only suggest that much power in tiny enclosures as the woofer doesn't really need tons of juice to get moving! Any idea on a ball park release date? Corey

IMHO a pair would be perfect on a SAE-1000D

Nice, i was impressed with the sd-1 v1's as it was. Im not going to lie i was a littl skeptical the first time i saw the sd-1 v1 but once you get your hands on one your mind changes. I been playing with my sd-1 10's alot lattly and have been more impressed for the price tag. Cant wait to get my hands on a pair of the v2's. Loving the improvments, cant wait to see how it performs. Keep up the good work Jacob. Corey

x2, There are some realy low people out there. There is a possibility it was delivered and someone stole it. Corey

lol, yea good is kinda the wrong word to use thats for sure. Just seeing if its as musical as say a 9500. So wish this wasnt a 15 but im run this by one of my friends and see what he says. Corey
-
What kind of specs were you looking for? I have t/s specs for all the older re subs if thats what your looking for. Corey
-
Jacob, How would you rate the NS w/ these soft parts for loud daily sub. Would you say it sounds as "good" (not realy the best word to describe it) as a DD 9500? Corey
-
Cant wait to see it! Corey

Not to get way of topic but which would you rather have? Two of these (basicly what your p3000.1 is, pair of p1500.1 internaly strapped) Our two of these Im sure you would be happy with your switch to sundown, not just because the difference in build quality but the customer servies alone.

*edit Jacob beat me to it Here is a link to some real world teting of a SAZ-1500D http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7116 MSRP on the SAZ-1500D is $599 but its up to the dealer what they charge. I would contact your local dealer or rep for pricing. If you do not have a dealer or rep in your area contact the ssa store for pricing. Also Jacob has a selection of used, refurbs and b-stocks for sale. (check the stickies at the top of this forum) Corey
