OK then. I will contact WW and let them know to make aware of possible processing delays to customers to prevent any unforeseen waiting periods.

    woofer werehouse WTF

Emails, i believe, are typically reviewed by WW during the night, early morning and sometimes just after noon. I work with Evan, WW owner, and he is loaded down with business, but not "hiding", i guess i could say. I rarely ever talk with him on the phone so i can't tell you when is a good time to call if you ever needed to. Since you paid with a CC, it appears that his transaction service is waiting for payment to clear as what i have been notified about already. CC's typically take 2-3 business days before the money is actually deposited into the destination account. Just trying to help you understand how that can work as I personally have no control over that part of the sale.

    Big 3 Question

pop it open and look. Sounds like these car companies are starting to piss me off more and more.. Now we can't disconnect a cable without a special tool... Pretty soon we are going to need to take our car to a qualified car wash technician.

    Big 3 Question

i don't see what type of vehicle has anything to do with it... Just add the following- Ground from starting battery to frame Power from alt to battery + Ground from alt case or bracket to frame OR same point starting battery is grounded to.

We RARELY have to wait for payments to clear so i cannot answer your question directly. You would have to ask WW about which payment methods cause this to happen.

You are not being scammed. We drop ship for WooferWarehouse. They are waiting for your payment to clear before we receive your shipping information. All of our shipments are suppose to be guaranteed for 3days or less transit time so you will definitely receive your product before next weekend. I will let you know when it ships.
  7. OCing a video card, pci slot, etc... is never worth it, btw. Crashing gpu tests isn't good! Do you have any other older version nvidia card lying around? I wish i could get you to do free tests before jumping the gun on changing cards permanently. Sure, i'm assuming a new card would solve issue to but that's more than just changing hardware in terms of variables at play.

    Welcome to the IHoP

omg.. if we were both drunk... Skype would crash worldwide by accident... Honestly, i haven't had any liquor in quite some months.. Been extremely busy lately and beer is only thing i have been able to get my hands on.
  9. That's interesting then! You are implying that you are only getting errors related to file(s). No random STOP error code with no file association? File association is good! I would download Windows debugger tool that analyzes .dmp files. Load up some dump files the computer has collected so it can tell you exactly the ending result concluding to a crash and it's findings as to what is causing the problem. Unless you haveare OCing your video card, i would think the hardware would be the last thing to happen since it's been working fine for years.

    Welcome to the IHoP

i know the feeling.. I talk with Russian Engineer on a near daily basis. While we do understand each other on general levels, when getting into very technical detail.. we sometimes have to set aside an actual day of the week to just focus on something that we could discuss in 30minutes, that will take hours to fully understand the reasoning and how crucial it is to get right.
  11. Well then, you know as well as i do, who's ahead is pointless unless you are willing to buy THE BEST card made by either manufacturer... So, $525 isn't the best, hehe, let's drop that there. Maybe you can actually educate me here since you mentioned something i was curious about. I do a LOT of video editing and photoshop use. What dictates how much Vram one wantsneeds for this type of usage? The next best question is, i like to play a game every once in a while, but quality isn't important to me. I'm fine with 1024x768 personally even on 1050p screens so in that aspect, can a workstation card actually be better or is a desktop card still better for workstation software? back on your topic too- What error codes do you ever get? You do not need to tell me them if you know the solution to why you are getting them... You mentioned overheating.. What is the core temp readings? Anything 180F or higher is typical for PC malfunctions to start occurring.

    hey guys

omg.. hey chuck, honestly, i know i havent been workin on the car everyday but we both know the only hurdle in this build now is the modification to the rear wall... It's a lot of mental and physical work so once i get a design in my head, it's bandsawsaws-alljigsaw time. In all actuality, i'm already looking forward to the installation of the front stage amps almost immediately after that part is finished so i can get workable sound at last WITH BASS support. It's very close, this next step is VERY crucial. If the structural integrity of the wall is damaged from what i am about to do to it.. i will cuss out david.. pull senchez's hair out, blow Jason's other Icon, unplug Chop's amps, steal chuck's secret 4/0 cable, tell Jamie he's too close to his driver door, get Casey to downsize to 1 3" full range speaker because he likes downgrading so much and then go to the damn Ice Cream shop to cool down and have me some Tooty-Fuckin-Frooty Ice Cream before i get shot to shit... There.. so i must be very careful in the next few days,
  13. Well, i would like to know how you have officially narrowed it down to your video card? And when i say that, i mean your HARDWARE. In my experience, i had been a long-term Nvidia fan and before i built my next PC, i started to notice Nvidia's drivers were not playing nice with update and update, etc... Resulting in what you are describing. I had to go way back, possibly 6months prior and use those drivers to just have a normal PC usage environment... It was bullcrap.. Anyways, fast forward.. I then went with ATI with the new PC because at this time and STILL today, ATI is not falling off the map in performance like they used to 10yrs ago. Upon switching to ATI, i immediately noticed just ATI's driver support is stellar compared to Nvidia, INCLUDING a recent Nvidia card i purchased just several months ago, 560Ti i believe is the model line. Still today, ATI's Windows experience is great. Nvidia just doesn't give the user enough video tweaking when using, let's say a projector and multi monitor support, etc... The reason why i am telling you all this is because i want you to make 100000000000000000000000% sure you do not have driver issues and one set of drivers isnt enough to confirm that theory! There are TWO different sources to get drivers for your video card. Nvidia releases a new update every 47 seconds it seems, so this is what i would do.. Go to your video card's brand name's website and download their driver package for your video card. Next, uninstall your display adapter in device manager and restart in SAFE MODE. Install the driver package you downloaded, then restart and boot normally. I do not and suggest not to update drivers all the time unless you are trying to fix an issue specifically outlines in the driver's update list. This is with anything. In this situation, i would not trust direct Nvidia drivers for this scenario, but stick with your brand's own drivers. IF that fails, i would be looking to then try Nvidia's drivers but from several months ago, nothing recent!

Yea, well that's cool. I'm tryin to get my stuff all done by oct 23 or earlier so stick around.. i may be up there sooner than they think

    hey guys

cool, you live close to chuck? I'm down in Louisville, KY, about ~2.5hrs away from Porkchop and Chuck.. maybe.. kinda, hehe.

    hey guys

So, are you new to the car audio scene, terminology, degree of knowledge of installation, building, diagnosing, etc...? Do you currently have anything aftermarket?
  17. shizzzon

    hey guys

you should wear a seatbelt just when talking to me.. and possibly hearing protection what i do demos on my cell phone speaker... I would brace yourself when you see me pull up orchestra music.. there's no telling when i randomly added bass.. although it would blend well with anything i have done.

    Amp and headunit

No, he's against it in THIS SCENARIO, not all scenarios. It's very unlikely anyone would need to use a SSF and a sealed enclosure unless the user was dumping massive amounts of power into the driver.

    hey guys

oh i know who he is second guessing... it's not me.. you'll find out soon enough in the long run.. just stick around and join us every once in a while at some shows...

    hey guys

what did he say about me? I hope it wasn't anything personal because that one time at band camp.....OH, nevermind.

    40 hz too high?

the only reason anyone would tell you to go with 15s over 18s would be because the available volume you have is not adequately large enough to use 18s vs 15s. Also, if the space were constricted but do-able.. then it would probably only work as a very peaky enclosure used in SPL but would offer nothing advantageous if running large cone area in small volume for music vs proper cone area in optimal volume.

    Carrying case change - SPL-Lab

We are currently out of stock on carrying cases because we are in the process of switching over to another case that should remain permanent and more user friendly. Our past cases, I personally feel, were too small for some of our larger product equipment such as LCD Meter, USB Pro Meter and unsafe for transport for RTA Pro and SQL Meter. We are about to start stocking our new cases within the next couple weeks that will prohibit the strain of running out of internal space! We will be stocking 2 different carrying case that are designated for specific devices. When ordering USB, USB Noise, RTA Pro, SQL or Bluetooth meter, adding a carrying case with it will sufficiently hold these devices. The USB, USB Noise and Bluetooth meter will set in the middle of the case with it's USB cable wrapped around the meter. The low thickness of the case itself prevents the meter from moving out of it's location even when shaken violently. The RTA Pro and SQL Meter are long and cylindrical devices which can roll. They will be placed in this same case in it's own designated spot to prevent movement while still able to hold your USB Cable inside the case. The LCD Meter and USB Pro Meter come with the most items and because of this has caused past problems with getting everything back in the case once it's been used... Fear no more! The larger cases for these 2 meters are extra large and will be able to store these 2 devices hardware with plenty of space! All hardware from these 2 meters will have their own designated spaces in the case for a more professional look. This large case is approximately 18" long whereas the smaller case for all other meters is 12" long. Due to the case change, the case PRICING has also changed. Previous case pricing when adding a case to an order was $25. Upcoming carrying case prices are as follows- When adding case to order(we currently do not have these yet), Cases for ALL Meters EXCEPT LCD and USB Pro- $30 add-on Cases for LCD and USB Pro Meter - $50 add-on If ordering case separately without a measuring device- Small case- $45 Large case- $70 These prices will be updated to our retailers, etc once they are in stock.
  23. Coming soon within a month or so, Australia will be stocking SPL-Lab products. Xmplar Distribution will be handling all sales. It is important to note the following- All SPL-Lab orders purchased in Australia will automatically come with our new carrying cases that we are about to switch over to. All orders will also come with their own User disc which will contain software, PDF manual, test tones and a few other goodies that is currently being worked on, Xmplar is also looking at possibly starting a competition league there so if it happens, make sure you keep up to date on what's going on! More details once this new partnership is finalized.
