Remote wire issue

You have a signal issue. Run another audio source to the amp and see if it still does it. -
try holding shift when pressing enter.

Just curious if anyone knows of a product that can keep air line\fittings from experiencing the surrounding ambient temperature? I'm going to try something soon and see how it does through the winter... One of my O-Rings doesn't like the cold weather so i gotta air it back up every 2-3 days. My install has no reserve so what's in the bag is the only air volume on the car. I get the privilege of knowing something is leaking way before anyone else would, hehe. Keeps me on top of things.

What are some really good deep hitting 12s?
shizzzon replied to garychurch84's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
well.. when u say DEEP, are you referencing inaudible or just low for music? Inaudible is implying home theater type subs. -
You can try plumber's putty. That should do it for temporary use. Ok thanks. Perfect for what i was looking for.. Now the waiting game to see if i can prevent a leak so i know which fitting to replace. And after doing some research, i found out that 14" air line needs to be sealed differently than large lines. Teflon tape alone does not seal 14" air line.. SO.. @@$$*%(&(^%^, i'm probably going to be experiencing these leaks overtime throughout all the fittings until everything is re-sealed with teflon tape and rector seal, or leak-lock or something equivalent.

To answer your question about how the song is louder than a tone, it can be the same reason why a sine wave is louder than a square wave at full tilt. I tested this before in my last wall build. At very low to moderate levels, the square wave was always louder because of it's increase of amplitude. But the problem with a square wave is it plays more than 1 frequency. At full tilt, when the signal is clipped, the square wave has absolutely zero headroom, terrible signal quality, multiple frequencies playing at once, the score was lower than the sine wave who only showed 1 single peak frequency with only a clipped signal. I believe the amplitude level of the song is JUST RIGHT for your volume level to excel over a test tone equivalent to the peak note in that song. That means that you cannot precisely dial in the power output from volume 31 to 32, for example without requesting too much power output.

Are the new Wardens ever going to be here?!?!
shizzzon replied to rezac's topic in Incriminator Audio
Well, i havent seen IA ever do anything bad compared to some other brands out there but i cant say nobody could ever not do bad.. Just implying i'm not expecting it to happen. Anyways, a Pre-Order or Group Buy is a means of collecting money to help pay for a bulk shipment... The problem with some companies is they use this tactic because they have financial issues with how much they order at once. Now, if that's the case with ANY company, then NEVER do a pre-order. Bad business practice because if something changes, then this will happen if that's what happened. Now, on a negative note.... The entire time i've been on SSA, i've never heard EVER once that the price of Neo has gone down... So, unless a miracle happens.. I wouldn't expect it to. These comments aren't implying IA is or may have attempted the above, it's an informative post about what happens when these things are generated and the possibilities that could happen if poor judgment is used in the business. -
Anyone know of a high viscosity paste that's not really adhesive? I have an extremely small air leak that is 100% undetectable... Some days it will leak and somedays it will not.. Soap and water can't find anything. I figured since leak air pressure is so low, i could put something around 1 fitting at a time to see if it would stop the leak for a few days. IF it does, then i know what fitting to fix. But i can't think of anything to use.. and no i'm not using peanut butter, lol.

lucky i didnt just break my finger a few minutes ago... I unscrewed a sub in the wall to start reinforcing the mounting points for the subs with steel... I had the sub propped forward so i could get a drill in there and drill out some more holes for the steel but the sub wasn't push out right... So i laid the drill down, grabbed the sub at the top and was just going to lift it up slightly so it could fall back into the baffle so i could pick it up again and shift it... Well, as soon as i picked it up, it immediately slammed back into the baffle unexpectedly and jammed my finger right at the joint against steel.. So steel on steel at 50lbs a second, lol. Once i got done cussing about how laid back and lazy that sub is.. not wanting to stand up and MOVE.. i pulled my finger back and luckily.. it only broke skin. I almost took a hole-saw and rip right through the cone i was so pissed at this sub.. But oh well.. now.. ironically, 4 minutes later, both my drills died so waiting for them to charge.

Troubleshooting Laptop
shizzzon replied to Impious's topic in Computers / Electronics / Music / Games
oh.. yea, with no screen at all... you can try this- Flip the laptop over, unscrew the panel housing the ram sticks. Test the computer by turning it on with only 1 stick in at a time and test EACH slot per 1 stick. If no combinations of 1 stick in any slot work, it's definitely hardware related internally. It could be what tirefryr said, or it could be a bad video chipset. Another thing too.. If the Ram tests do not do anything advantageous, remove ALL sticks and turn on. If the laptop doesn't beep, you have a motherboard malfunction. remember, do all ram tests by turning off laptop and removing battery before pulling or inserting any ram sticks. Yes this is time consuming but failure to do this in between combinations of ram and slot tests can result in killing the motherboard if it's not dead already. Also, a tip to all for future use- Microsoft has acknowledged a while back that it's hibernation feature iswas never fullproof. It's compatibility with all computers out there is severely lacking. Nothing on the level of hardware failure but many times the computers will crash (software-wise) from unable to wake. -
Troubleshooting Laptop

when you first turn it on, after your branded welcome screen.. like Compaq or Dell, etc.. as soon as that goes away, rapidly hit the F8 key until a selection screen appears. Choose Last known good configuration or something along those lines. If it does NOT boot up properly, then redo the process again except this time choose Safe Mode. Let me know the progress of which route worked. If safe mode worked, we will then need to do some troubleshooting. Don't worry though, there are still several things that can be done still without losing any information. Also, about RAM, let's leave the hardware faults alone for now as most problems on computers are software related. If ram was the culprit, RAM fault(s) generally cannot be duplicated at the exact same spot during operation in your case, booting up at the same progress level. If all else fails, I'll walk you through burning a cd to test your RAM. Windows 7 DOES come with a RAM tester but i have noticed it reports incorrect results many times so i will not advise you to use it with accuracy. -

ya, "reusable" dekas are the most effective and cheapest route to go with. The problem is with the US, not all dealers in the US will continually accept reusables because of sales. They don't really make any profit if that's all they sell so a word of advice, don't go blabbing about reusable batts and trying to buy 20+ and requesting more all the time. Our local dealer here stopped selling them for almost a year because of that but then recently got some more in after it all died down.
