and on top of that, it costs money to drive. Why does Indiana charge for gas for.. It's ridiculous.

It cost money to go to Slamology this year? Screw that, i'm out.

Well, do not assume that there is a single solution to every problem being experienced right now. I'm focused on this fuse block melted. I looked at the block, appears just like any other.. I'm assuming their wire is of adequate performance, i just never heard of them before. For that block to be a wire insert, are you sure that wire is EXTREMELY tight in there? It should be so tight that you physically cannot pull it out. IF you can, there's your problem. Another reason for melting is sporadic grounding issues that are too fast for the fuse to notice(which i doubt anyways) Also, Check the fuse screws. IF the screws holding the fuse down is not rock solid, that's another reason! see, if the fuse isn't popping and it's a 300a fuse, then the current making the block melt is under 300A. 300a is not enough to cause this to happen. If it were, then they wouldn't make them capable of holding those types of fuses because 1/0 wire is capable of transferring that current so the fuse block not should, but does have the same or better capability. From the alt, to the fuse block, to fuse, to other side of fuse, to other side of fuse block to entire battery terminal AND POST of battery and ground at batt terminal AND POST and frame ground, i'd check ALL for loose connections or for non-measurable variables or those with resistance. -

Well, only knukonceptz is the only one i know who is retarded.. Can you post a link up to the fuse holder? -
i sure hope u know i ninja'ed you.. i know what you said Mr Mammoth of Woolly.

What fuse holder are you using? Melting blocks can only happen from resistance due to a poor connection. If it's a Knukonceptz block then that's why your voltage is bad, plain and simple. IF it's not their block, then you need a REAL block, either custom built or from someone who knows what conductivity means such as Stinger or Xscorpion. You have to get rid of that block now anyhow because it's already created resistance in it that cannot be fixed. -

Can't play the speculation game. You need tools to find the problem. Otherwise, we can just go down a list of things to start replacing.. Cost of tools is a lot cheaper and sometimes free if autozone knows what they are doing. -

you cannot drop below battery rest voltage unless you are pulling current. You need a DMM and Ammeter. Two things everyone should have. Either that or install a SMART Monitor in your car.. Either way. But from the looks of it right now, 12.5v is WAY too low for a G31. You now need to purchase an AGM battery charger and top this battery off or you'll always have problems. Next, you will need to clamp your alternator's power cable and see how much current it pulls on a burp(quick session of bass) as loud as you can go. If the alt's output per engine rpm is nothing what it should be(lot lower), then it would sound like part of your rectifier is damaged. -
I keep hearing that lol Window as in windshield? If the roof is suppressed, then the windshield will be stronger, not weaker.

I have some very thick mat that will add a good bit of rigidity to the roof to keep it from flopping around anymore. We have done this on multiple cars and it has worked great. My initial plan for the roof was to utilize already existing nut plates in the center of the roof.. IIRC there are 3-4 1/4" bolt holes then attach to floor somewhere. How many layers of mat and resin do you typically use?

What do you need help with? A word of advise, whoever is designing these logos, if they do it in photoshop, then they can be stored in such a way to remodify and rescale them without losing quality. IF you do not have these master files, i can make you a basic IAK logo like what he's asking for in photoshop so it could, in theory, be used to print on the largest wall in the world if need be.

how exactly are you guys going to fiberglass and pole the roof? What is exactly the plan on how to do it? IF you do what senchez said, i would highly advise to drill holes in the wood that would then be the new roof all over the place(prior to installing it, lol). Then you would buy some foam and inject all the foam through the holes to prevent the wood from slapping into the roof. I even seen your A pillars moving.. I don't know how you are going to attack everything but good luck.

What you drivin a smart car? If i can get 4 18s in a scion tc, u can as well in a cutlass.
-
i'm interested in this power for averaging. If i were to ever run them, i'd run them on some 5500s at 0.35ohms for 30sec.

tall, skinny, covered in skin... lol Look for the loudest scion tc in the world.

you are thinking about buying a better alt to power 1300w of power? Not necessary at all. All you need is a single battery in the back to act as a buffer for current demands.. that's it. Run 1 run of power AND ground from front to rear to sustain equal voltage from front to rear. -
Cases are in, pics n pricing posted at end of first post.

Yay! You better find us and hang out with us all weekend. There are MANY MANY MANY IAK people so it's hard to findmeet new people when we are expecting them. but, you also have a unique vehicle too so drive that bish over to our place at the show so we know who's who.

Ok,, so let's see if we are on track now- So to the present- Kevin is doing business but like other companies, canis getting overwhelmed with orders which has lapsed or delayed communication with people. Besides that, yes, i still agree the product being sold is purely not created by the brains of the owner. Many of us have values that we can start any business we want but if we can't prove or know the details about what we sell, then why put your name on it? IF you are going to say, hey, i'm the owner of Brand X, then customers assume the owner should know the ins and outs of everything sold under that name. And in this case, that's not true with all products and that's what puts a bad taste in people's mouths. Where else are we to go if we can't get the info that is being requested? Nowhere.

I would love to share the same feeling as you, BUT, as stated from me before, When asked about TS specs on speakers, they are provided falsely. That alone should just be BAM.. game over.. Now, onto amps, yes, most amps now are all the same generally.. but, would you want to purchase from a company that doesn't understand how the equipment works to better the company. IE- Sundown.. They know what they are doing all the time and advancing their products with customization. Personally, i would never dump a lot of money into something i have no idea how it works just to make money off others. That is what we are referring to. Customers want that warm feeling that they are in good hands. Not that they just got a deal on something and assume they know the specs of it and it's warranty coverage turn-around time.

lol, everything is fine now, hehe. Hopefully, and i better be to, will be a LOT louder then than i am now.. and i'll be able to compete for my first showing at slamology ever... Man, this year, i'm actually personally excited for myself..

i tell you why people buy his products. ADVERTISING. It doesn't matter how terrible the product is, if you can advertise enough and social engineer people into believing they need it, then it will sell.

Awesome! can someone help me install my alternator while we are there? WHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
