i guess because he has loads of money and his builds are of very high quality. Of course they are not of the highest potential but he seems to be a smart man, cool person to be around and it isnt everyday that people roll up with setups like his. He just got himself a lot more public recognition on the internet which is why he is so popular. Take me for example. I'm about to wall off my Scion tC. There is no other scion tc i have ever seen walled off... so technically i could go get myself recognition for all the scion lovers out there... I'm not but just sayin.

OK, got everything workin again on the car. Dealership ordered a replacement module for the HVAC controls and the check engine light was due to pressure being escaped out of the gas tank... The gas cap was on properly but somehow it was still leaking air out of it.. They re-tightened it and it cleared it. Fedex just stopped by to show u guys this-

I'm assuming if i had one of those woofer testers to pull the T/S parameters of a speaker, it would pull different specs if i took a single DVC subwoofer and tested it wired in series, then tested it again in parallel. Well, i dont have one so i'm gonna rely on those experienced here to relay some info to me. I will be using 4 subwoofers, 2 subwoofers per amp. Each pair of subs are dual 1 ohm. I have 2 ways of wiring this- 1 - Parallel both subs then series them to the amp 2 - Series both subs then parallel them to the amp Is there a difference in SPL potential between the 2? this info is pertaining to a meter, not the ear. I notice when looking at specs of subs, in general, when comparing their Dual 1 and Dual 2 versions, Dual 1s have less MMS, higher efficiency, but lower BL. Is this what to expect if i parallel then series them? Educate me.

i have one. The only fear i ever have is driving it to a movie theater or especially a theme park.... I usually go to theater during the day right now so it's less risky. Theme parks... well, haven't figured that one out yet.

The website says 8" for the whole subwoofer but i am designing my wall and need to draw out the magnet so i can properly run allthread without running into the magnets. So... just the magnet itself, what is the depth? Thank you.

burps and bass race. For bass race, i highly doubt i could ever wire down to 0.17 ohms on a 1ohm stable amp so this is purely focused for burps.

ok, if my impedance rise in my install is high enough to wire down to 0.17 ohms(all parallel), this will yield a very low BL then correct? i must be very careful.

if u need to charge a battery up, go with the slower method. Fast charging doesnt top them off as good as slow charging.

take it however u want but i'd look for a job that has a demand that will never end. An example is hospitals and food industry. The odds of being let go in the food industry is very rare. But it also depends what part of the food industry you work in.. I can see people getting laid off in hospitals.. too many employees. I work for a restaurant warehouse and the company cannot fire anyone there unless of course you do something crazy stupid... They will instead transfer an employee to a different division of the company. So, point is, since u are free right now, look for a job that has a high future demand.

Some other things to know- The DC 15s are commin this weekend as well so i'll have 1,000 pics of those, lol The graphic that was posted a while back showing 6 runs of allthread is gonna be changed. After previously using all-thread and seeing how strong it is, i am downing the usage of all-thread runs from side to side from 6 to 2 runs. The steel bar bracing on the sides will also be removed as it will not be necessary! 3/4" all-thread is hella strong, lot stronger than i thought. There will be a slight delay coming soon as well as predicted. The front baffle has yet to be cut and painted and this will cause a 3day delay once i get to it. I am trying to get everything done by June 13th... this is the goal. At the moment... it doesnt look like i'll make it, lol, but i'm tryin.

no you cannot, just use a Y splitter. Also, being careful has nothing to do with it. I proved that in my experience on here a while back. A slight defect in shipping that isnt visible outside of the amp's case can cause catastrophic failure when strapped because they rely on each other to work properly. That's why i run all my amps separate with a master controller so they both "act" like they are still joined but aren't.

from my experience and from talks with a local shop from their experience with strapping, it's safer to run amps independently. If one amp fails or goes into protect, it will more than likely take the other one with it.
