i was unaware you actually heard them in person before. Mine and others opinion must be very different than yours is then. I was just curious.

i can tell ya that my 4 80A mini-anls held just a hair over 1,100A for ~1-1.5seconds. The TL already got my score in plenty time before the fuses popped! I was surprised the fuses last that long. Knukonceptz and Audiopipe mini-ANLs share the same threshold as what it appears. -
AQ20KD coming soon...

well, if it's rated like the American Bass amp, then it requires an 800A combined fuse setup. all i gotta say is u better hope these big amps never get damaged outside of warranty service... -
you know what... i have no idea.... This information was handed down to me from the company itself. IF it seems possible that the xmech value has nothing to do with the higher tuning preference, then someone who builds subwoofers could probably explain why their subs work best tuned so high. This is what i do know personally- Whatever these subs are tuned at will be capable of dropping MUCH lower than other subs that most people are used to. What i am implying is many people expect to set their subsonic filter just below tuning... that's now how there subs work. It takes a lot to unload one of these subs. They are not competition speakers, just very brutal street beater subs. They have one of the stiffest suspensions i have ever seen and any owner of one would say the same thing. It takes weeks and weeks and weeks before they start to loosen up. "Maybe" that's why they can be tuned so high... their tight suspension prevents them from bottoming out... However, even if that's true, why does the low end NOT lack even when tuned so high? Audioque would have the answer... apparently i dont.

no cuz they have to expand just to read them then their dead.... U had that joke coming.... -
Sorry to say but you were tuned WAY too low for an HDC3 which is probably why it didnt sound to good. 35hz is the lowest recommended tuning to drop very low for music. I tuned mine back when i had a pair of 12s to 38hz and could drop it down to 24hz off of 4,500w of power and still not bottom out. That's how i set the subsonic filter. 38hz is the optimal tuning for their subs due to their long throw capability. They will roll off right in the most common frequency range for most rap n rock which is in the 40-50hz range when tuning too low.

hmm.. u should gain about 1.5db from droppin that low. what u runnin in m2? -
lumbar yards are NOT cheaper to get mdf compared to Lowes. I tried that trick long time ago. Reason being it that Lowes buys SO MUCH of it compared to a lumber yard that they can pass the savings onto us. Lowes is everywhere. There's a lot more Lowes then there are lumber yards with the same name.

150s are easy to get. I have several world finalists that tune with me every now and then locally and some of the designs i do have pure potential of reaching that high. The only bad thing though is it's best for the user to have plenty of tuning knowledge as i can only do comp designs for those who know how to tune off of them with trial and error. I'm workin on new designs right now to get louder. I did a 153.4 at the last show with port loading in the center of the car and less than 150sqin of port. After increasing port area by a ..... hush hush amount ... and replacing port in the proper loading area... well, we'll see what happens during testing... I currently have access to over 20,000w of power sitting here next to me.

Ha, that doesnt mean anything... Carl Casper is The Largest Car Show in North America. Carl Casper is also one of the largest MECA events every year. Because of this, competitors come out of hiding and bring the noise out of nowhere... Be extra prepared... There is always a crazy ass in every division. -

There was one guy that did M2 that i am aware of, he did a 148.6 i believe -
sealing around the wall typically doesn't get louder to the ear, just to the meter. If i were you, i'd wait on buying that herculiner stuff. Secondskin is about to come out with a covering like that and other liners in the same category and will cost less than $100 a can.

Well, i believe your guys step down transformer has 2 step down settings correct? Is one of the 2 suitable for running an alt at 17v and stepping down to 15v or slightly lower for the 12v bank? Letting the alt keep it charged is one thing but i like to top them off for competition use as well. I really do love XS Power. I only have a single D3100 and a single D5100 in the back and i just pulled just a hair over 1,100A at a comp yesterday for a total period of about 1.5-2.5 seconds and very quick ~400-500A spurts. After my burp run was over, voltage only fell from 13.2v to 12.8v! Stock alternator was fully capable of charging this back up and the voltage regulator inside the alt didn't even drop voltage while doing it and i was surprised about that.

I haven't seen this posted here or other places yet and am wondering what battery charger out there is capable of charging these new 14v batteries?

I cannot find this info anywhere but i was at a seminar for a big show coming every year in Louisville, KY next month. The dealer there said that they would have still been a current Kinetik battery dealer but they had to get rid of their inventory because there are rumors goin around saying that Kinetik is about to close for good... Now, i have never seen this posted anywhere but a dealer would have first hand knowledge of such action so i dont know really what to believe. It doesn't hurt me any but for those who like the company, might be something to look into.

And i found my stock cpu fan and slapped it on there after cleaning the processor off... It sucks finding out that the STOCK FAN runs COOLER than the aftermarket! And i'm still OC'ed 33% over stock. -

yep, the fuses handled fine! 4 80A fuses accepted a current pass of just over 1,100A to get my score before they blew. It took 1.5seconds to pop so plenty of time. -

OMG. AQ finally put line outs on an amp finally... Now people dont have to Y adapt the world together in their ride! I doubt i'd ever get one of these.... but.... it depends on the price... I have 6 3500s right now...3 of those amps would be nice but unfortunately i am about to downgrade my power soon and try somethin different for a while. -
In MAY?!?! It better be done by then! Hell, i was expecting it to be done by the end of the week.

Apparently i cant do math. I am one point away from being tied for M4 Points leader. I will be redesigning my wall.... Hopefully i can overcome my competition at Carl Casper in 3weeks. I have vids but because my main pc's fan died this morning, i have to find a fan lying around and reclean the processor in preps for a new temp cooling solution while i order me a new one. No, i havent already fixed it, lol, i'm on one of 4 pcs i have as back ups in case something weird happens. -
