personally, if you want to run some nice stuff... I'd ditch the RF amp and go with a Cadence ZRS amp and upgrade to a better head unit.. I know you probably chose that headunit because of it's compatible features but spending a lot more on a company like Alpine.. you might lose some of these features but what you lose, you'll gain in quality and durability. Most of the low end Alpine's are like any other cheap headunit.. Their $400 and up headunits are very nice for years to come.

Hey, i need to know the Device tag for your hardware so this is what u need to tell me so i can help you. Go to Device manager, double click each uninstalled device, go to Detail tab. On dropdown menu, select Hardware ID. It will show something like - VEN_xxxx&DEVxxxx&..... I need you to tell me what the 4 characters are after VEN and DEV.

i heavily disagree. the AQ20kw does an average of around 8-9kw on a typical 12v system so 2 N3s on that should be purely fine. However.. the N3s are not smooth at all.. and you could get better sound and better lows from an N2.

bromo can probably help ya too if i or dbeez don't post on here first... Did i just confuse your brain? -
u need to swap them around and see if it still does it if u plan on competing. Worse case scenario, run them individually rather than strapped.

Hey Shane.. i got some news.. good news and bad news... so here it is- The news first- Even though you purchased a used meter, i still checked it over to make sure it's in like-new condition. One thing i did notice is the suction cups didnt want to adhere to the windshield for more than 23 sec.. I don't know about you but 23sec isn't fast enough to setup burp, find your peak, tune your box, adjust your port and be a world record holder, lol. So, i went ahead and cut out all the sealant in the cups and reapplied silicone to it. Now, i did this at different times. The 2nd one i did several hrs later after i noticed it was at fault too so it was still in the drying process when it was packaged up. When you get your meter, look at the suction cup that is NEXT to the plug in port on the meter! Make sure that thre isn't any silicone on the actual suction cup itself.. All the sealant is injected in the center of the cup and let just barely come up out of the gap in the center to seal it for when the suction cups are FLAT. So a lip of silicone is perfectly fine but any silicone that may be reaching all the way to the outer edge of the cup itself would need to be removed. Silicone is very easy to remove.. just use your finger if u have to remove any, hehe. So, that takes care of returning the used meter back to new. Now the bad news... You probably won't get your meter Saturday... The reason is because of the good news.... Your meter is already shipped so it should be there Friday and YOU will be the first person with the slowed\custom bass-lined music cd. Yay!! hehe.
-
The CD will be shipped with meter.

u can either mail it via media mail for ~$2.50 or mail it by purchasing a $0.70 bubble mailer and mail via first class for a few cents cheaper.

I did not do AC DC Thunderstruck or any Elton John because the last half of the music would have gotten on garbled and sound like trash so i past on it. Here is the rest of the music- Ice Cube - Down for Whatever Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal Geto Boys - (Die Mothafucka, Die MothaFucka, Die!) Still Eric Sierra - Korben Dallas Anybody Killa ft Axe Murda Boyz - Brace Yo Self Pink Floyd - Don't Leave Me Now BE VERY VERY VERY VERY CAREFUL.... some of these last songs.. like Pink floyd, hehe, drops below 20hz FULL AMPLITUDE.

95honda is right.. think of it this way. Let's say your woofer is bandpassed between 60-2khz and your tweeter is high passed at 2khz. and you got that amp that is feeding 100w to this one set- woofer and tweeter. ANY frequencies playing below 2khz and above 60hz go to the woofer because the tweeter is high passed above 2khz. ANY freuqencies playing above 2khz will be played thru the tweeter which will absorb the most power vs the woofer. No crossover has a roll off as steep as a 90degree angle but the strength of it is plenty strong. So, if ur amp does 100w, a typical component set will and can receive up to 100w maximum depending on the notes played! If, for example above, you were playing a 2khz test tone, the power would probably be split in half, 50w\50w. that's as best as i can explain it.

if this is going in a trunk, forget it..

yea, i bought some of those at Lowes but surely HD has some too.. They didn't sell all wood models.. just the plastic versions so i bought a pack of them because when i roll.. i press down HARD.

this is what i got, 1\4" bit- http://www.lowes.com/pd_57163-353-85911MC_0__?productId=1093177&Ntt=router+bit&pl=1¤tURL=%2Fpl__0__s%3FNtt%3Drouter%2Bbit%26page%3D2

i use a carbide spiral upcut bit. They are $20 per bit at Lowes\Home Depot but well worth it! They are a lot faster and last a lot longer than a standard high speed steel router bit.

Technoir - Liar (Bitter Truth Remix) - is done.. this is the song i mentioned earlier that you will probably die if you listen to it all.. IF not, you won't be able to enjoy any other songs as you will be deaf. Looking into some other artists right now to finish up the disc.. I'm gonna keep it a secret until i'm done as to what else is going on the disc.

i wouldnt run 5kw to a BTL, lol... I typically run 2x the rms of a sub for daily for maximum potential for prolonged daily usage and have never had a problem with many companies i've done this with. I've also ran 7x the rms before but obviously not for continuous daily use... I've ran AQ2200d per HDC3 copper before. I've ran 1 AQ3500d to a pair of stock level 4 DCs before (1kw per sub) never had a problem. I've seen the BTL and BL, never messed with them before personally. I know they aren't some cheap model. But i will say this, regardless of how much power you give them, whether it be 2kw or 10kw per sub, if you damage it, you were not careful enough.

thank you!
