Wow, thought all had been forgotten and forgiven, that's sad.

Welcome! Fellow Virginian here that relocated to TN

Something else I noticed, I see that box all around is double mdf, I personally would go single except baffle and use a little bracing. You would be surprised how much that extra .75 inches for the double walls will take away from your air space.

Agreed im afraid you are short on net volume and DEF port area, I just wasn't sure enough to say before someone else chimed in. I have 4 cube net for each sub and a total of 160sq inches of port which is STILL on the low side for port area. My dimensions are 46x26x22 and that's all the port I could pull off. If you can go bigger on your box and you should be able to, it will help tons. Even with my box I have use of my back seats AND some area in very back of my Durango to haul trash/groceries. I also have no trouble seeing out my rearview even at 26 inches high. Edit-sorry I forgot you were in a trunk. Someone else could chime in, but I would def be looking for more port area even if you give up a little air space for the subs. don't hold me to that, it could be wrong, but I think port is the problem with your sound.

Good looking box. Do you know what its tuned to? That's fairly close to my box dimensions and i have a 6.5 inch port. how are your settings on your amp etc.?

I can understand being frustrated on waiting, but its just good sense for something that's said in a PM to be LEFT in a PM. I seriously hope you didn't just start some crazy shit. smh I don't know why you would turn around and lose money on something so awesome, but I personally wouldn't trade my xcons for any other sub made. I can bet if you want your order cancelled they would be happy to do that, just to reduce the amount of questions they have to answer, not to mention any of the other people waiting patiently on their order could have your spot. Not meaning to sound like a dick but you know as well as anyone else on this forum how hard Aaron is working to keep everyone happy. Cancel your order OR WAIT PATIENTLY LIKE THE OTHER 1000'S OF CUSTOMERS

Will do Tearz! Yes that would be me She was straight Diamond Audio girl until my "sexcons" got installed. Firm believer in SSA as I am now!! Not to mention Diamond has went wayyyy downhill from 5 years ago, as a matter of fact I have to upgrade my front stage now, as one of my diamond 5.25 has blown on 60 watts

I cannot begin to convey how amazed I am with them. I have a fosgate t1500bd-cp on each and it for lack of a better word is just NASTY. Soooo accurate and yet soooo brutal at the same time. I have them each in 4 cubes after displacement tuned to 33. Sound great on the kick drums and then the loww notes hit and it is just mind blowing. I literally cannot play at full tilt while driving due to my vision getting so blurry. Ive never had that problem before

That's nuts on that amount of power pmureika. id believe it in a second since i have installed my xcons. I can't say enough how impressive ssa equipment is!

Belt Shredding Monster
AXEHAMMER replied to Jason Witt's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I agree Brutal, even from a pic I can tell that belt is not aligned right, if you will notice the alternator appears to be "back" farther than your other components. Hence it is not perfectly in line and will shred them quickly.- 24 replies

Is there any danger in laying subs face down like that? I was always to scared of hurting them
-
And over and over? lol. Ill be honest Mark, I looked HARD for a bad review on these subs to no avail. Not a single bad review in this hobby is beyond amazing. Keep it up sir!

XCONS are LEGIT my friends!

Like would be an understatement! My wife is already tired of hearing me brag about them. These are my 5TH set of subs in a year, and i cannot tell you how bad they stomp on every other brand i have ran, including diamond d6/hp12 and the t2s just to name a few. My durango is begging for mercy lol
-
You will have to tell us how they compare to zcons. you lucky dog
-
I hate to hear that man. yes i will def post a pic or three and maybe a video
