  1. Over the past few days I've noticed my dcons bass excursion decline at random times and now it is at stable very low volume compared to how it used to sound. I've only been using it for a bout a year running on a crescendo 1000c4, it used to sound badass and shook my whole car up now its just a dull rumble. I don't think I blew it out because I've been running it at the correct wattage thru my amp and had it professionally installed and thought SSA was known for it quality woofers. can someone please help me out?
  2. Looking to buy either two 12 inch or 15 inch DCON D4's whether in enclosure or not

    Hey there

    Excellent choice man
  6. sa-12? every single sub ssa offers? so many choices
  7. Or an estimate to when the 15 inch dcons will be back in stock
  8. True what I'm really hoping for is a already put together 12 or 15 inch enclosure with dcons in it to avoid the triple shipping cost and what not
  9. Running off 500wattsx2 bridged @ 4ohms rear channels of a crescendo1000c4. All stock electrical system 1999 volkswagen passat (I might get the big 3 upgrade if necessary). Would these subs have trouble reaching their potentional with only 500 watts split between them?
  10. Vehicle Make and Model: 1999 Volkswagen Passat Sealed or Ported:Ported Number of Subs:2 Brand and Model of Subs:12"SSA DCON Max Dimensions:42.5 inch across 20 inch high 32 from back of seat to end of trunk Port Color: Red Painted Black Zip Code for Shipping Quote:02886 Any other notes:I would like it flush mounted @ 28-33hz double baffle, 45's in the corners, rounded edges Thanks in advance.
  11. What do you mean by seal off the trunk??
  12. What kind of box could I fit in a 42.5 inch across 20 inch high 32 from back of seat to end of trunk. I'm looking to get 4 12 inch dcons in there but i can settle for 3 or 2 if i really have too
  13. How about three 12s? I kinda want to get 12s cuz I already have 1 12inch in my trunk gonna sell the box its in
  14. my trunk is pretty massive with nothing in it besides the amp.. But now I'm second guessing my first suggestion with what little power I have on the amp.. Maybe 2 12 inch Dcons off 500x2 bridged rears would sound better than 4 splitting the power up between them?
  15. Planning on running two SA-15s probably off something like this http://www.sonicelec...-BK1300.1D.html in the back of a 2000 ford focus wagon. Would subs like these require an alternator upgrade or would they run fine off stock, and also if SA reccomends a 3.0-4.0 ft^3 @ 35hz ported box for one sa-15; around what size do you think two of these would require? And would a box that big fit in the back of a ford focus? Any help and suggestions on things I havent asked here are also appreciated !
  16. Cool thanks sir, another question.. Do you know which would sound best and loudest out of 2 15 inch Gcons, 2 SA-15s, or 1 15 inch ZCON?
  17. SA-15's Rated at 600watts RMS, I'm trying to decide what amp I should get to power two of these babies up looking for a budget friendly but not low quality amp.. Preferably under 200 dollars
  18. haha very true, idk I've just heard bad things about running single 18 inch subs like lower sound quality and the sub being slow? Things like that.. Feel free to enlighten me as the title says under my name I am newbie Also that ported box size for an 18 seems a little outrageous to me not sure if that would fit in the back
  19. What would be the best combination for sound quality and THUMPING BASS primarily thumping bass. One 15 inch Zcon Two 15 inch Gcon Or maybe 2 Sundown sa-15s?
  20. Its going in the trunk of a ford focus wagon, I will get whatever amp necessary to power whichever set up I have. Im looking to spend within a 400-500 dollar range on subs and want the best BANG for my buck
