    1500d's OPINIONS NEEDED

ok so i'm purchasing 2 18" BTLs and really considering getting 2 of these amps.. heres my question do i get 2 Dual 2ohm BTLs and run 1 on each amp at 1ohm @ 1500 watts rms each OR do i get 2 Dual 1ohm BTLs wire them parallel on the 2 1500s strapped @ 1ohm to get the 3700 watts? how efficiant is it to strap these amps? and are there any other worth while scenarios that i should consider? I will be getting a 300amp alt and as of now i only have 1 yellow top, will i need more batteries with that big of an alternator?

    BTLSs

i plan on picking up 2 18" BTLs very soon, but they will be for daily driving, in a low tuned box at about 32hz and around 13 cubic ft after sub and port displacement.. i want to have somewhat clean bass and not just total chit.. but some peoples comments on these being only SPL monsters have got me worried I really want to stick with Fi they have impressed me so much from what i have seen and heard and i want to be LOUD and LOW how will the SQ compare to my current set up 2 MTX T9512-44s on 2.4kw rms ? i know it probably wont be as good but thats fine with me i just hope for something decent thanks in advance

    3 15" BTLs

doing a wall with 3 15" inch BTLs total box volume internal is 15.5 cubic feet how do i figure out the rec port area with 12-16 sq inches of port per cubic foot? really lost here i keep coming out with really high numbers

    3 15" BTLs

when they reccomend "between 12-16 sq inches" whats the reasoning for choosing the right amount? once i figure out the port area.. how do i figure out how deep the port needs to be for tuning? or is that determined by the area of the port?????

which amps for 4 15" btl loaded?

well these are the two amps i've been looking in to most as i will only need one of each.. i will be buying 2 18" BTLs very soon and need BOut 2kw RMS to each.. if you could get me a price on that amp as well that would be great. Thanks, Scott

which amps for 4 15" btl loaded?

well.. for amps your going to want some clean power.. i would look into: 2 Memphis Mojo 4kw maybe wait for the Sundown SAZ3000.. a couple Orion 2500Ds RF T40001bd theres a lot more to look in to just a couple suggestions

    BTL Enclosure

does my 1997 4 door bravada (exact same as 4 door blazer) have enough space for 2 18" BTLs? or would i be better off going with 1 18"? either route i go i will have 2kw rms to EACH woofer... my max dimensions are 48w 30d and 20h.. going ported if it is only enough space for 1.. does anyone think 2 12" BTLs will be louder than 1 18"??? sorry for all the questions.. they may seem pretty dumb but i want to be sure about what im doing BTW I'm looking for a pretty good SPL but i want to retain SQ for daily listening right now i am running 2 MTX T9512-44s on 2.4kw @1ohm, in 4.5 cubes each ported tuned to 35hz, i would like to have about the same SQ as these if any one has heard them before

    BTL Enclosure

well thanks for the reply, this place seems kinda low traffic today, but yea 20inches is actually higher than my seats.. i think to the top of my seats it 17 inches but i wouldnt mind it being higher for me to fit 2 18s back there cuz my current setup is higher than that i'd like to see some pictures if you have them especially of how the box is built, it seems like it would be kind of hard to build a t line for 2 18s

    BTLs power

4000 rms for the pair, so 2000rms to each like I said I'm still not sure if I want 12's or 18's.. but I do know I want 2 of what ever I get, and I want them to be dual 1ohms so I can get a 1ohm load on the amp.. what does MAOR mean??
