starting a new build in my bravada.. current set up- 2 MTX 9500 d4 12"s 9 cubes total, tuned to 32hz 1 yellow top RF 100 amp circuit breaker 1 run of 0/1 RF RCAs Jensen 7inch flip out hifonics xx-zues stock alt... stock bose interiors new setup 300 amp alt 4 runs of 1/0 hifonics xx-cyclops 300 amp fuses 4 kinetik hc 800s or 600s (see what i can fit after the box is built) 2 loaded Fi BTL 18s 16 cube box tuned to 33hz eclipse EA4100 4channel for highs eclipse EA2000 2channel for mids midrange & high range drives TBA wire new amp in on the MTX's.. thats all for a few days one question to everyone.. can bass cancel out it sef if the driver isnt placed properly? the new amp is pushing the subs to move way more than before but it is much quieter, the only thing i can think of is how the boxes are positioned, before they were like this sorry tahts the only pic i have but i checked all the filters and gains everything on the h/u is the same im gonna switch it back tommorow, just want to know if any one heard of this

love the RE comps.. sound so clean and full especially for the price

well back to work.. a lot of things changed though component amps and components.. now running 2 sets of RE RE Components 6.5" 2 6.6 inch DD midrange Sundown SAX 100.4 for now untill i get more money i have 1 18" BTL installed all options except cooling on an XX-Cyclops @ 2ohms ~3000 rms... 6.7 cubes @ 31hz 4 runs of 1/0awg stock 130 amp alt been "extra windings?" barely any voltage drop only down to about 13.1 from 14.6 yellow top now for pics and vids.... __________________ no order at all.. TEMPORARY box for rear speakers amps sub out with old in with new...

well i bought my sundown 100.4 off of ebay as a refurb, and i must say this amp is amazing, the crosovers sound great, and my RE components sound awesome on it shipped fast as hell, and nicely packed. only 1 problem... i fudgeed up and put my sitcker on my truck crooked lmao how much for a new one Jake? i will have some pics up in a few im gonna charge my camera

if your gonna wall it off.. make it worth it, do a couple 15s or 18" BTLs.. 10" BLs can fit in your trunk

well me and one of my friends decided to start up a build on a wall for 3 15" BTLs... come to find out only 2 will fit but its all goot 2 BTLs it is front stage is yet to be figured out along with the sub amp.. 2 runs of 1/0 for power 1 run of 1/0 for ground phase linear touch screen ps2 8" lcd in airbag lots of fiberglass work bla bla bla heres the pics the car.. 3% tint all around, 3 rear windows are spraypainted black inside no longer transparent stripping the car

MAYYYYYYYYYBE for a SHORT few seconds in the right hands/box and install... were talking 8000+ watts to a sub "rated" at 2000.. a BTL on each is very doable with the right box and a good electrical system

well 14-15 is before port and sub displacement.. weguess about 11-12 after.. the port is about 2 cubes it self

well the subs will be in on monday.. we have to brace the top of it and all the wires are ran.. so it will be hooked up monday.. but only on about 3000 watts.. vids will be on here for sure, not sure when or where to get metered

lmao... another one of our buddies stopped by the shop and left that for him.. shvt is hilarious haa we went through 2 brand new router bits.. they were cheapos but i think it was more me doing the routing that burned the wood by setting it in too low all that you see was my first time using a router so its not exaclty the prettiest but it will do!

yea, he probably will wait to buy an amp, not sure what we will power them with temporarily...

180 sq inches of port, about 14-15cubes before sub/port displacement tuned to 32hz for them lowwwws comments/questions/suggestions/critisism ... lets hear it! especially suggestions on amp/amps and some components and midrange drivers.. still looking around, must keep a low budget, subs are scheduled to arrive monday

i think 5k rms for daily may be a little too much from what i have been hearing unless you are really smart about it, you def dont have to use all that power if you were to get that amp (Maxximus) I'd wait for some one with a little more knowledge of the subs to give you a better answer

I have 2 1500s coming to me and before i install them i want to make sure that my electrical will handle it right now i have a stock alternator on my bravada (blazer if you will) pushing ~110amps and 1 yellowtop optima my plan was just to replace the stock alt with a 300 amp one but seeing as these amps can be run at a higher voltage than 14.4 i was thinking of doing dual alts and running 16 volts on a 300 or 200 amp alternator (whichever is reccomended) and have a seprate battery in the back I would like to get as much power from them as possible so i will most likely strap them @ 1ohm (i know its not covered under warranty) I just need to know how big of an alternator i will need to run them like that and if running the amps at 16v daily is gonna be ok so many options, but what will do the job? well, thats the reason i asked before i do things lol so with 2 of these amps will a 200amp alt be enough with 2 yellow tops or will i need the 300amp with 2 yellowtops
