ok i want to know what the underlined phrases are and how they incorporate into output of the amp On-board Crossover: Fully-variable (40-200 Hz), selectable-slope (12 or 24 dB per octave) LP Preamp Output: 2-channel (independent active filter, parallel with amp filter or pass through) Bass EQ: Single-band parametric with variable boost up to +15dB and Remote Bass Option Infrasonic Filter: Fully-variable 24dB/octave from 15-60 Hz THD at Rated Power: <0.05% @ 4 ohm S/N Ratio: >95dB below rated power (A-weighted, 20 Hz - 20 kHz noise bandwidth) Frequency Response: 5 Hz - 500 Hz (+0, -1dB) Damping Factor: >500 @ 4 ohm / 50 Hz >250 @ 2 ohm / 50 Hz Input Range: Switchable from 200mV-2V RMS to 800mV-8V RMS -
ok guess i'll have to read more posts and ask ques.

thanx

ooohh... So the BL can take it better than the Q because its designed for more SPL but the Q will get the deep stuff better when pushed hard? how many watts is hard for the Q? its what Fi Car Audio said but without "linear volumetric displacement" and "motor strength and suspension" i gotta read a book or something about this stuff so i can understand it better anybody know any good references
-
oh.... i get it now how would this be 2cu. @ 30 or is that still not saying nothing
-
ok, but whats the difference between the way they play the lower and higher notes

hey guys been into the car audio for a bit now and after a couple of subs but they didnt give me what i wanted from them except for a 10" pioneer premier but after my love for the bass gave in i turned the amp(JL Audio 500/1) and HU up all the way to see what it could do i tore it up still works but cant turn it up as loud as i want without hearing the cone. ya might give me hell for this but i've always thought bout goin with JL W7 i've heard them and they sound great but after researching the forums i've heard some good things bout Fi and im thinking about the Q or BL. mostly looking for SQ and some great low end bass that shakes everything. im leaning towards a 10 cause i have a reg cab truck dont have much space and like the tight bass they give out but also like 12's because of the air mass they move, also what amp would u guys recommend for the Q. and how does the Q and BL compare to a W7 if they do?
