yes thats a great combo ss+sundown=FTW....ive used a sundown 1500d on 2 rli-8 in a ported box tuned to 34hz hit a 144.6db so imo it's a great combo.. Aloha

I would go that route 2 rlp18's on the sundown 3000d.. I think it would sound great... I was thinking of doing the same with only 1 rlp18 ported on the sundown 3000d...lol Aloha

my net is 1.2 cubes shared tuned to 34 hz and my sweet spot is 48hz port firing into driver side far rear corner and subs 5" from the hatch Iam usind a sundown 1500d @ 1ohm with a kinitik 1800 in the rear, stock batt in front, and the big 3 using 1/0guage..

today I finished my ported box for a single RLI-8 tuned @ 33hz. It went into my wifes highlander running @ 2ohms off a digital designs SS1 and all I can say is Dammmmmm. The sound is incredable, the bass tight, clean, very musical and very loud on all music from yung yoc to some hawaiian music. I just need to tune the amp tomorrow and Iam sure it will even sound better then today (untuned). Iam glad I made this purchase and will continue to use, buy and spread the word about soundsplinter here in Hawaii.. Aloha

thanks baccus for the comment I tried the box the way you mentioned and it didnt help what worked for me was to angle the box with port aimed dircirectly into drivers far back corner and the subs bout 5" from the hatch... first run of day was 144.6db's..philp did a good showing also with the Fi bl10 he gave me a hard run for my $$$ that day... also keep in mind both philips and my boxs are tuned for daily... we both are in the works of making spl 1 note wonder boxes.... heres vids of a comp we had on sunday and the Hawaii boys reppin Fi. let me say that the Fi 10" gave me a run for my $$$$ I won by a mere 2db's. Heard a level 4 15 sub today and it was a monster, low end was amazing, clear, and sounded nice, to top it off the sub wasnt even broken in yet just simply dammmmmm... Big props to sky from Hawaii Aloha
