I know I have a car audio addiction when......

My state tries to pass a bill like this..... Currently the House of Representatives for the State of Hawaii have introduced legislation that would make it a crime to: (1) Have any speaker installed that is more than 6.5 Inches. This means that if you have your expensive custom system with 10"s, 12's or even 8"s, you will be fined for up to $250 (2) Under this new proposed law, it would also be illegal to have any speaker that exceeds 100 Watts. This will affect just about any car enthusiasts, not just those with overblown audio systems. (3) This bill will cap the amount of speakers to a total of five, regardless of size. (4) This bill will also prohibit ANY speakers in utility section of cars with a hatchback. These heinous actions instigated by an overbearing Hawaii State House of Representatives must be stopped so that Hawaiians are allowed the freedom to enjoy their music responsibly within establish state decibel limits. If anyone would like to call a reporter from the Star Advertiser please do. She is doing a story on this for today's paper and also cover tomorrow. I just gave her my comments and she would like comments from consumers...here's her phone number (808)-529-4392. Please call and get your opinion on HB1178 in print! -
