matt09, Sorry for not answering you directly. I am knee-deep in projects and new speaker designs over here. Give me a day or two to answer your PM. Thanks for your patience, Chad Kuypers Ascendant Audio

Nope. At one point I was running 4 of those 18's in an HT setup. Yours is long gone. The one I have here is in dire need of a recone but the motor is still great. I'll get around to it soon enough zora. Thanks for hanging in there for the time being... Chad Kuypers Ascendant Audio

Free time? What's that? I didn't know there was such a thing as free time... I am very happy that the poly 6.5's will eventually be returning in both variations as Scott mentioned. I have got a theater room here with 10 channels worth of 6.5 poly mid based 2-way speakers and they aren't going ANYWHERE. I love those things. The poly mid may not be considered truly full-range, but for a 6.5 it sure gets close. As it is, they already get up to ~8-10 kHz on-axis before they see any kind of major rolloff up top which is pretty impressive. There are already a lot of customers running them full-range for rear fill in their car setups. Chad Kuypers Ascendant Audio

Eventuallly we will post all of the information about our older drivers on the website including specs and rec. boxes. I apologize for that information not already being there. If I remember correctly the recommended Avalanche 15 ported box for car was 3.5 cubic feet tuned to 28 Hz. I will double check later to make sure I am correct. That being said, you can adjust the tuning to change the output/character of the sound. Tune it a little higher and it will definitely get louder. The 28 Hz tuning will give you fantastic lows, and that is what most people love about the Avalanche. It just comes down to what you want. Chad Kuypers Ascendant Audio

vladd, Nice pics. I like how you fit those ports in on the Atlas 15 boxes with minimal baffle area. Good stuff! I thought that everything was pretty much gone, but I found a small batch of some Avalanche and Atlas subs upstairs here at the shop. I will throw them up on the website on Monday. I think we've got 5 Avalanche 15's, a pair of Atlas 12's and maybe one or two Atlas 15's. I will know by Monday... I don't really want to sell them, but I think that they would be better served in somebody's car or home than me hording them in storage. Chad Kuypers Ascendant Audio

zora, Yup, I'm here. I haven't gotten around to that old motor. It would be an understatement to say that I am unusually busy right now. It needs to be crated up to survive the journey and I just haven't gotten a chance to do so. I will contact you shortly. Thanks for your patience. Chad Kuypers Ascendant Audio
