I'm about to make my first HT sub box. I going to use a older se/xxx 10 tuned to the lower 20s. Since I have hard wood floors, should I face the sub down and port into the room or both down. The subs going to have around 300 Watts in agood size room. What do u guys think

Panasonic CQVW100U Clarion MAX385VD Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD i wanted to know what you guys think, i always used clarion so i have 2 sirus box's, ant and all that so im looking into the max285.

i have cdt cl51/4's in the kick and cl61/2's in the doors of a 02 sunfire, i was thinking about changing the 61/2" out for a slim 8" what do you guys think a what would be best to use as a mid bass?

you can get all the radios above for under $300 and thats about my limit, im not really looking for to much just a dvd player and i wanted a radio that i could upload a pic but i couldnt find any for under $500

Since I have a son my girl wants a car seat in both cars I have to take the 15s out the back seat and I won't be able to do my dp21 I'm thinking about 3 10s facing into the car and porting the back deck. I'm about to pick up a crunch 3000d and its going into a 02 Pontiac sunfire. The set up is going to be used more for everyday use tuned in the low 30s. the trunk is and will be sealed off from the trunk and the subs behind the back seat with about 5in of space Right now I'm thinking of fi Qs, ssd, aq2.5s or dc lv4 can u think of anything better? I'm going to use 2 6in Euro ports on the back deck where the 6x9s used to go. Do you think it will sound good or should I use 2 10s with a flared slot port facing into the car?

huh? i ment the trunk is sealed off from the frount of the car, i typed that with my phone at work. also its going to be used for everyday use so the goal is to have a loud system that can go low. if anything i might do bassrace 139 but thats about it

you need to find someone that can take the subs over the line and then ship them to you, just take them out of the box. alot of people on anouther site do that and it saves them alot

I'm going to have a gp3000 maybe 2 down the road. the subs are going to be used for everyday use, demo at car shows, and bass race. so far I'm thinking one ia dp21 6 gp 10's 6 audioque 2.5 10's 4 audioque hd3 10's or 6 ia li 10's I can do about 9-10 cubes net and its going to be tuned to 35. the subs are going in a half wall in the back seat of a sunfire. the amps will be placed infrount of the subs. thanks, Marks phone

I get it now I still didn't recover from new years or work yet haha. from the looks of it one sub will be better for ease of install and wow factor

I ment around 1500 for the 21 the 10s will be 2077.11 the 21 would be 1451.465 6 tens will have about 600 more plus more vcs for the heat but the 21 will be easy plus the wow factor. I don't know what to do.

I can't remember what is the furmala to fnd out the cone area of a sub. or do you know what a 10 has? I think the 21 is around 1500sqin

not sure why people always think its going to get full power all the time. its going to be used for a few shows and to demo at car ahows with my car club, the sub will be ran at 4 ohms for everyday use. when i started db drag in 03 i had a viper 2500d hooked up to a single se 12 and never friend a coil.

whats the true rms on the amp? how do you guys think one would sound on a dp21" or should i stick with a kicker 2500 or sundown 3000D

this is what i got back from Scoot "6 cuft after port and driver displacement using (2) 4" Aero port kits at full length. This would yield a nice solid response down to 20Hz and tune you to 22Hz. As most plate amps (assuming its a plate amp) have a slight boost at 25Hz followed by their subsonic filter kicking in after that it would work well. You can tune things lower if youd like, but you would be sacrificing output vs extension. If its with a plate amp I wouldnt do it as they roll off below 20 Hz" The amp i plan to use is a Oaudio 500watt plate amp. what do you guys think?
