Finished box, just need to add some wax and throw it into my car. Now off to start the amp rack!
-
Actual time working on it, I would say that I have about 18 hours.

Here is an update of my box with it's first coat of paint. I still have to go through and add several more layers in addition to cleaning up any imperfections that the paint ends up showing.

I was going to cover it with vinyl but my wife likes the look of paint, so now I'm working double time to fix any and all imperfections lol. I'm going to be painting it blue so it matches my car. Then I'm going to build the amp rack, which will be recessed into the floor and covered with carpet that matches the carpet of the car, grey, and then more fiberglassing into the sides of the hatchback for my wiring, 6x9's and cap, which will all be a combination of paint, carpet and plexiglass.

Here are the newest pictures of the progress that I have made. I'm down to finish sanding and making corrections to any defects that I find. I also still have to finish up all the edges and blend them.

Thank you very much for the info, as you can tell I'm new to forums =)

Okay, I've got most of the waves out of the fiberglassed portions of the box and have almost finished up the center. I also picked up a pair of Memphis PR10S4V2 which will do what I need them too. I have yet to decide on an amplifier but I'm thinking about the Alpine MRX-M100. I'll try to post some more pictures of my progress tomorrow. Also, if someone could fill me in on how to post my photos directly to this post, instead of having to reference them from my album I would be grateful. Thanks.

I'm a grad student so my fabrication is slow going, but I try to work on it every day. I'll post photos of my progress.
