ooo, you talking about TI's song "Top Back"?
-
you talkin about the subs??
-
but even the Fi forum says that 1.8 would work..
-
ive got a plan for my two 12" BL's. it comes out to be 5.5 cubes..is this too big? i can easly shrink it down or make it bigger if needed. thanks.
-
alright well i was hoping that i could shrink it down anyways. would there be that much of a difference in sound between a box that is 1.8 cubes or 2.5cubes?
-
ive read that Fi wont reply e-mails unless it has to do with ordering subs....true? i know that ive sent an e-mail and recieved no reply. is there another way to contact them?
-
the cheapest ive seen the 2500's run for was about 800
-
vids! when you can.
-
if the 20.1 doesnt come alive until lower impedence level, then you should be fine? i mean one dual 2 ohm sub wired in parallel brings the load down to 1 ohm at the amp.
-
yeah i shot nick an email yesterday. its kinda long....haha sorry.
-
the plan is already two Fi BL twelves....but i would LOVE it if i could squeeze in two 15's. my trunk....yes..a trunk....is 38W x 38D x 20H any chance of squeezing in two fifteens? or one 18?
-
sorry guys, i didnt mean for it to sound like i was dissin you guys at all. that was my bad, i just wanted to make sure that i wasnt wasting my time or theirs. and i'll give one of you two a hollar, k?
-
i took a better look at that trunk, and it would be pretty easy to get a good sized box in there. there is quite a bit of distance from where the trunk closes to the top part of the trunk. (i'll get pics if that doesnt make sense.) so i can go as wide as i need to and as deep as i need to with the box. but i still need room for the pressure to reach the front. i saw a couple vids of two 15" L7's in the back of a monte carlo, so theres gotta be a way to get a box for two fifteens in there!

thanks! -
i was on crutchfield.com and was lookin at a head unit. found one i liked, clicked on it, and at the bottom there was this message. Installation Details for your 2003 Taurus SE
-
which ever would sound the best, hit the hardest, and fit in there.
-
hmm..thats kinda hard to say.....i'm almost afraid to say...cuz if i'm off a little, then i most likely wont get the box in there.
-
o bud, got me all excited to get mine. VIDS as soon as possible!!
-
yeah i'm pretty sure it effects the SQ
-
no problem at all. i realize this could be quite a task. i'm pretty sure the only way i'm getting two fifteens in there would be to build the box in the trunk. but i posted this to see if anyone would have any ideas that might work on getting two fifteens in there.
-
the trunk is beastley! it's an 03 ford taurus. i remeasured, the MAX measurments are 40D x 39W x 20H...this is, of course, end to end, side to side, etc.

no, just the knobs, if thats what your askin. and that whole panel isnt like an oval, the year model before this one is an oval, this one is more like a square. -
ever thought of looking at the ED NINE.1 amps? good looking, reliable, and a little underated too. $365.
