so heres a dumb ? how do you figure how many AH you need to use? and (2) stock 130A isnt enouph i could pick up a few more stock alts and run one on each batt would that be better? i mean for 22.00 it be simple to get a few more

ok ill star with this, i have been googling alot so please help 1) does anyone know the true RMS of these amps @1ohm and @.5ohm SAZ-2500d DC 2k DC1.2k CRESCENDO BC2000, BC3500, BC5500 2) im hoping i might be able to get into competting, i dont uderstand how they rate the power in the stock classes, some help here would nice to be honest i dont have alot of money to spend on amps/subs, only like 1200 give or take a lil, i have a 94 ford explorer xlt 4.0/v6 already did a big3 0awg, going to up grade to HO alt., and a couple of batterys avalable space is 40W x 18H x 36D 3) these are some of the subs ive been looking at DC L2/L3 12" SKAR VVX 12"/15" SA 12"/15" SSA DCON/ICON 12"/15" also FI PSI but i dont know what series or what to pick to build 4) id like to be able to hit 145-155+, is this posible with my budget i know i put alot on here/ wide range and my budget isnt the best any help would be great thanks and God Bless Samuel

im looking for mono, 1, 2, chanel amp that @ 4ohm is rated at 600x1 or 300x2 but i need TRU RMS @1,0.5,0.25 ohm to be 1200+ kinda like the saz1500d thanks God bless Samuel

ok so i think im starting to realize that for my budget if im going to compeate i need to be looking at the 0-600 class an amp that is rated 600x1@4oms or 300x2@4ohms or less with that said let me redo this

i thought about this all night and this is what i think it is saying (crescendo bc3500d) 3875@1ohm/4=968.75 but it would be consederd 1150 because of crescendo saying it does 1150@4ohm, wich would be 601-1800 class or (bc2000d) 2250@1ohm/4=562.50x2(for 2 amps)=1125 but would be considerd 1400 because crescendo says it does 700@4ohm, wich would still be 601-1800 class did i finaly figure that out? please correct me if i am still miss uderstanding

i must be stupid because im not realy understanding what this says (took from the usaci outlaw rule pdf) A car audio system’s total wattage shall be determined by the highest manufacturer rated output divided by the proper number to ascertain the 4 ohm power output, or the manufacturer’s 4 ohm rating, whichever is higher. If any amplifiers rating cannot be determined, that amplifier will be moved to the highest power class in that division until such time as a rating can be determined. USACI reserves the right to independently test any amplifier to determine the true RMS power rating and reclassify that amplifier as needed.

how do you figure your stock class for usaic comps, and iasca bass race, bassboxing? ive got a couple of soundoff dvds, and id like youtube and see what people are running in the classes i might be intereasted in

i might have, im willing to learn, ive been checking in to some schools aswell but id like to think people who are into it as a hobby could teach me more than a school can, ive installed a few systems and built a few boxes(someone has always helped me design them) but id like to learn more, ide like to be able to use it for music as well as compete thanks for your time

thanks for the welcome, the system i had i just put into my friends/brothers pathfinder, a elemental design nine.1 and a 13a in a slot ported box @37hrz i built myself(designed by bret at ed) that is one reason im here to get input on a new one that i hope to maybe be able to compete with, i also posted in the general discusiion about what ive been looking at and my small(verysmall) budget thanks agin for the welcome
