Seems like there is a few of us BMW owners looking to do this same exact thing lately. I have worked on mine, but the length of the aero port needed to be to long for my liking, or my sons for the matter. So i put it off. But i am looking at doing one now so i can help out the owners owners and give some insight to it. If you get it done soon let me know, would like to see what you have come up with.

I run a 10" ICON on 400 watts and it does great, granted i want But it does great as is.

Depends on the goals, usage, personal preference. I personally enjoy a ported box as i like more bass. As to OP as stated by Aaron the ZCON's are not designed for sealed enclosures they are meant for high power and heavy bass. I would like to hear how the XCON sounds in a sealed enclosure.

Nice man, i like that kind of judging keeps it on a level playing field. Sure 2 people might both have 2 12's, but one is running 4000 watts and the other 1200, i know that the build has alot to do with scores also, but without power you cant make scores.

That sounds like it is going to be a monster! 6K on a 12v system i would love to see what it will do on a 18v system!!

FI will be custom made to your order, generally a 7-10 day build time is given. But they are well worth the wait. Also you will never see FI at any local audio shops, as they are a direct sales only company so they have No dealers.

If nothing else just use some caulk on the inside, and a nice bead of glue when you put it together.

DDM's problem was with customs, but more with the government trying to crack down on people importing HID kits and selling to the general public. DDM has cleared up most of there problems if i understand correctly. Also customs has been a pain for most everyone lately importing anything. Not sure why the big crackdown, but it has slowed alot of stuff down.

Is the car not drivable? Why not just go there and drive it home? Sorry if I have missed something.

Watching "Inside west coast customs" earlier and they installed a DC power alternator on the main build they were working on, it was a Baja Chase truck for "OX" of metal mulisha. Not sure if it was mentioned before, but i thought it was cool.

That first video was just messed up!!! I was to busy being disgusted by the video to even listen to the lyrics!! If any of the video was real, these kids have a world of hurt and prison terms ahead of them!!

Even with 3 in a 5cuft area he should be good. But either ported or sealed, 2 or 3 you will be doing good with these, these subs are overlooked quite often, but are certainly little powerhouses.

There have been alot of different views of what happened, and even a few videos that surfaced, but i do not know where they are now. I love my country and am a veteran who served faithfully for this country. But i do feel some of those videos depicted some interesting facts that cant easily be explained away. But seeming strange and being wrong are not always the same thing. All i know is that day is one of the worst i have ever experienced, any time i see a show or movie or anything and they show or talk about it, i cant help but get choked up. I do not have an opinion either way as i have never studied the facts well enough to base one.
