I am still waiting on the big three, but isn't a problem because I rarely turn it up to the point where voltage drop is an issue. But a little update on my system, so I'm sitting there and I notice a little blue light is beaming up at me and to my amazement its my bass control knob.... The little bastard just started working out of nowhere? and now it works fine? cool? haha

Do you think adding a kinetic hc800 would help out along with the big three? Thanks

Well I am in love with my audio setup which consists of a 1500, 100.2, fi 18" Q, and CDT special editions up front. I have only burped her a few times around 3/4 volume and have never had any issues. Today I was playing the system about 2/3 and noticed that I started having voltage drop pretty bad but before I never had any electrical issues, my guess here is that the battery is struggling now with the demand (brand new red top). I have all 0 gauge wiring up to a dist. block with 2 foot runs of 4 gauge. I do not have the big 3 done yet and is on my to do list which brings me to my question: What else can I do besides the big three that isnt over the top for this setup? I ask only because I noticed my 1500 heated up pretty quick (wasnt to hot to touch) but abnormally warm for 12 minutes of play time compared to before without the voltage drop. Thanks.

Well today I curiously clicked on my tracking number to see if the sub had shipped not only was it shipped out before the holiday, its in my damn town and will be here tomorrow..... I find this amazing being that Fi has been flooded with orders, Scott was gone, and I had added the BP option. I placed my order on the 26th and wasn't even expecting it till like next week.... Amazing guys keep it up! Build pics will be up soon.

So if all my (big 3) main wires were upgraded to 4 gauge, I should be fine correct? running a sundown 1500 and sax100.2 off stock 110 amp alt. and red top I am worried now...

Well here are my dimensions for the blazer: Depth= 25" Width= 37" Height= 22" What kind of options do I have here? Like enclosure volume and tunning options. I was looking to use aeroports if possible... I would love it if I could get a 3-d look lol I suck at designing boxes... thanks
-
Can someone please give me a possible explanation for this lol I am having a serious mind fudge right now!
-
Well I went ahead and ordered the 18" Q dual 2 ohm with the 40 dollar upgrade. I am thinking that I should put this in a crx style box lets say around 6^3 feet tuned to 33hz? I suck at designing boxes but I sure can build them! haha if anyone wants to help I would greatly appreciate it! It is going in my black blazer, and I am thinking black gloss paint finish as well?

I think im going to go with a modded 18" Q in a ported enclosure with sub firing up and port firing towards the hatch....
-
So my best bet is two 15" Q's sealed?
-
Hmm I think I am now leaning towards to 12" bl's ported or 2 12" Q's sealed........
-
What size Q's?

I am not looking to add any more strain on my electrical system so this sundown I think will be more than enough for a daily driving vehicle. Well it sounds like a loaded bl in a fi spec enclosure ftw? I listen to pretty much everything alot of rock, trance, rap, and yup even country lol.

Yeah I was thinking a single 18 ported would wang but which sub and what enclosure?

I got an 02 2 door blazer, I just bought a sundown 1500d. I had a 15" HC off 1500 watts in a factory spec enclosure, and then I went to 2 12" sx's in a factory spec enclosure with 1000 watts on each. These are the only two sub setups I have had in my life and both were in the trunk of a volvo s70. Now that I have a blazer I am curious as to what I should do and I am looking to go FI.... Thanks!
