I would say a Z2 would be the route to go we had one in a crx running 4 12" RE MT's and it put up with every thing we could give it. We had the big three done on top of an upgraded alternator with a power generator to keep voltage stable, and a fleet of bateries along with 16 runs of 1/0 gauge wire from alternator to back bataries (8 positve and 8 negative to the engine). Or you can get a Audiobahn A5000SPL, Autotek MM4000.1D, Crossfire VR4000D,Earthquake PH20000W/D2, Earthquake PHD10000W, Earthquake PHD5000W, Hifonics Maxximus, Hifonics Goliath GX5000D, JBL A6000GTi, Lanzar OPTI 4000D, Memphis 4KW, MMATS 3000.1, Rockford Fosgate Power T40001bd, Soundstream XXX-10000D, Soundstream XXX-6500D, Ground Zero GZPA 1.6000D, TRU SH-1 Sledge Hammer, US Amps USA-6000, US Amps USA-4000, US Amps USA-3000. These are the ones that I have ran and was very impressed with some of these amps may be a little bit more power that what you need for a daily driving system but if you hook it up with no distortion you should be good to go.

Thanks, Scott I just sent you a email.

Where is the best place to buy tinsel for new tinsel leads? Also can you double up the tinsel leads to each coil for more power to run through? or is there bigger size tinsel that you can buy that would help with this problem. Because I don't want to keep on breaking the leads after every stereo show. I was already afraid that when I took the dust cap off I was going to stab a hole in the sub don't want to do that again. Also is there an easy way to get the excess glue off of the cone where the cap used to be? Thanks! By the way took first in class again this time with a 145.1 legal in the trunk, borrowed a friends hifonics maximus amp for a 3 second burp in finals that is what burt the tinsel.

When they were out of town at nationals I ordered my sub and it took about an extra 7 business days before I got the sub at my house. I would say give it an extra 7 business days. You will not be disapointed in the wait I now I have not been or any one else that I know that has ordered their subs.

Where can you find the black CA glue at?

Thank you for that info. That helps out a lot.

I was wondering if you could send me the exact dimensions, that would be the best for the 12" BTL that I just bought from you tuned to 32HZ? The biggest size box that fits in the trunk of my Chrysler 300 is 32"wide by 35"long by 15"tall, that is the biggest size box that we can fit in there. If you could help me out that would be great.

One amp hit a 141.4 db on the new term lab mic. Soon I will have the other amp and will get it tested to let you now how much better it does, and what the sub will hold.

This sub is the best sub ever we tested it out the other day to see howmay watts I could put to it and right now it is able to hold 3852 watts (the max my amp will put out right now at 14.9 volts). I am going to buy another earthquake amp and starp them together to see how much more we can give it. I am currently running the sub at 1.30 ohms I will run it at .65 ohms once I get my next amp. For any one out there that is wanting a sub that will hold just about anything that you can give it I would go with Fi Audio, I am now going to be running Fi in all of my cars from now on. Thanks again for all of your hard work. I will lwt you know how may watts we can give it before it gives out. I will be getting it tested this next week on a new term lab mic my prediction is that right now it is about a 141 Db's out of the trunk. Here is a link to view my cars and sub: Hey

When running 1 Earthquake PHD5000 at 1.3 Ohms it was hitting a 141.4 in a 3.25 cuft. bported box out of the trunk of a chrysler 300. I ordered another earthquake PHD5000 and plan to run them both at .65 ohms. I know they say that they can only be run at 2 ohms but my friend runs 4 of them at .35 ohms daily with 4 RE 12" MT's, the amps don't even get hot. Mine right now is putting out 3852 watts. These amps love to be ran at lower impedence, running at 4 ohms my friend blew the s&$! out of his it caught his trunk on fire. So I will let you know what type of numbers it does when I get my new amp in.

I was wondering if any one knows the true RMS rating for the Earthquake PHD5000, Kicker 1200.1, Massive audio P3000.1, AUTOTEK MM4000D, MA AUDIO HK802SX, Orion 2100, and Hifonics bxi2006d or Hifonics bxi1606d? I am just trying to figure out witch amps to go with when I run my stereo. If any has tested any of these amps please let me know. Also I would like to know if any one has ran one 12" BTL daily in a trunked car and had it metered to music? If so please post your scores on here along with pics of your installs or your car getting the score. Once I get mine I will let you know what it does with a bunch of different amps. Hopefully I will have it posted on here by next weekend. Right now my friend has a 12" FI Q with a Audiobaun 1200 watt amp in the trunk of a 2001 Cadillac CTS doing a 141.5 legal, remember the back seats in those cars don't fold down.

Invoice number: I-10425/00 I was wondering if this sub will be finished by the end of the week? I have a competition to go to on 4-22-2007. The reason I ask is I need to get this insatll done before the competition and work out any of the bugs that I might run into. Thanks
-
Yes I did get the traking number for it. Thanks you for your help. I know I will love it as much as all of my friends have loved theirs. I will let every one on here know what type of numbers they do.
-
I ordered it on 3-23-07, A 12" BTL fully loaded dual 1 Ohm.
-
I think that if you want to get really loud you should use a couple of the RE MT's. My friend has 2 12" RE MT's in a CRX with 4 DD amps running them and it hits a 161.3 on the new term lab mics. So you should be able to put up some good numbers with the right power in that big beast of a car.

best enclosure tpe for a honda accord
Burbarry replied to platnum accord's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
My Friend has one 12" Fi Q in a 2.5 Cu.Ft. ported box in a trunk of a cadillac, also the seat does not fold down he is doing a 141.6 with a pos Audio baun 1200 watt amp. -
Buy another Q and put them in a 4 Cu.Ft. ported box tuned to 34HZ and you should have enough room for a couple of amps.
-
How much power are you looking for in the end? At what ohm load? What's the budget? I am getting a 12" BTL with dual 1 ohm so I want to run about 2000 Watts per channel.
