The gain on the amp is not just a volume knob . Doesn't tell how much rms its putting out. . Who installed everything?

Usually premade ported enclosure are just made to save space and fit in trunks and shit. . With way to low port area and tuned really high and way to small for what subs really need

Would be better to get ported If It was designed and built for the sub you get but If you plan on getting a premade (pre fab) enclosure I wouldnt get ported

I know you cant really tell by ear but knowing my car was doing a 48 in the low 30s im thinking the van has to be at least a few dbs higher

Going to a comp on the 24th and know a couple people with meters that will be there so should be able to do some testing and see where im at. . Hoping for a 52 with first metering. Well hope for more but 152 ill be happy with to start

Man im loving the low 40s to low 50s range. . Still love the lows but the higher sub frequencies are crazy . Never had an enclosure that hit the higher notes good .

Forsure dont want to get a pre fab ported enclosure. . I think with what you want you should go with sealed

Yes. If you run a dual 2 sub in series it will be a 1 ohm load. . . . I would also look into better wiring

If you get a dual 1 ohm you wont be able to run the amp at 1 ohm and wouldnt be able to give it 1000 rms anyway
