If you have an electrical plug like my old car did, clothes hanger and fish tapes will not work. You'll have to pull the plugs out completely and make holes to run the wire through. If it's not too difficult taking the whole door off can be helpful. Some vehicles are way easier than others. Like running wire through the doors on my blazer, cake walk. I don't really like the clothes hanger method, you could end up damaging the factory wiring.

Which sub? Cooling option put channels on the pole, so slightly less metal. I doubt there would be much of a measurable difference. I will speak highly of it though. Even though I didn't care for my BTL's stock soft parts, they took a lot of abuse and I rarely smelled coil lol unless it was heavy clipping.

They're not going to win you an SQ championship. But that's not saying they sound bad. I'm sure there would have been better bang for your buck, but that's besides the point. You already have them. I'm guessing you're just looking for them to sound loud and clear and keep up with the subs. My older sets offered plenty of depth and clarity.

Not reading all the replies. But RF makes a pretty nice comp set. I've run them in the past and I was pretty happy.

Well he's using an tc 5400 motor right now. I don't think it's a slouch when it come to terms of BL... No it's using an lms coil either.

What kind of cone are you using? Got a friend doing a single 15 burp setup. He's folded almost every cone so far or blown the surround. But it's doing very nice numbers.

Picked up the fourth 15 and went to my first DB Drag show over the past weekend. So guess what that means!? Legal testing! Testing went great, put up way better number than I though it would. For my qualifying round I just ran a 149 since I didn't feel like getting out of the AC (over 150 you can't stay in the vehicle) Well went it came to my first my elimination round I f'ed up and put the seat way of my remote reaching the HU to unpause it... But in testing after numerous full tilt burps, maybe 2-5sec between each one and the best I got was 154.8 @43hz So I think with everything cool, it should do a 155 legal. Did some outlaw burps 155.4 seemed to be the best but that was after all the other burps lol. At this point, I don't think I'm going to directly sink anymore money into this truck. Just going to put some money aside and buy something newer with less rust and overall better shape. Probably sell this thing for grand. But I have gotten some more goodies. Yay! A box! More boxes! Beefy, four anarchy mid bass drivers. Next to a "standard size" 6.5 (not an insult to the IA which are very nice) Basket OD difference Ass to ass. Fancy it up with instagram.
