Yeah there are several spots for an optional "Alpine 9 channel" upgraded system. Included in that are 4 6x9's in the doors. 4 empty 3" slots - 2 in the front and 2 in the back dashes - and an empty slot for a center, and an empty slot for an 8" sub in the back dash. I don't know how to find out if the HU does or not. I was just going to use some Line-out's to the amps regardless. That miniDSP thing looks very interesting. I guess I have been out of the game for a while. I am just trying not to spend a ton of money on this. I would be willing to throw down $100 for the miniDSP, run active if I can get some good mids. Are there any 7" mid will sound better than the Morel's or the Focal around that same price. I'd rather run a $25 mid installed right with good processing setup well than ANY of the 6x9's you listed. I'll agree. I've yet to hear a 6x9's that does anything for me. making an adapter shouldn't be too hard.

what driver is that?

The HDD's? I've heard a few setups. None of them were let downs, except one in which someone had no idea what they're doing... Which that's with any driver. They do take a shit load of power and still sound good. If I wasn't getting the IA stuff, I'd be searching for 4hp motors or giving Murphy hands jobs for SHD discounts lol.

What in particular makes you say that? Not sure for his reasoning, I do know some key points that may be. Cheaper build time of only 7 business days (although only one motor left at this time with new ETA of 90 days) higher rms Company is closer to him ~20-30 pounds heavier Really not much cheaper (according to the price posted here) once you factor in the cost of shipping. Shipping would pretty much equal the price out. Tried finding a website with specs on them but google returned nothing but a facebook page. There is none, it has been "in the works" since some time last year. Also, specs have been requested many times on their vendor section with nothing, I've contacted Alan Hall also in request from them and was told Monday he would have them, its going into wednesday now. I did speak with the owner at Finals last year, he did seem a bit "unfriendly". I asked a few questions with only a few words of reply. if its the same guy i met Ronal Murphy i think his name is.... it seems thats just his personality, short direct very blunt. misunderstood kinda like me. That's kinda their personality. They're not unfriendly, just short and direct. If you talk to them at a smaller show, it's a bit different. Alan and I have butted heads a few times, but got past it. Most people don't know how to take him.

Not the Evils. I'm not putting down the Evils but, considering the SHD is slighly cheaper, 1500rms more with a much larger motor.

You'll get xmax, mms, rms more or less.

Maybe 35 bucks in gas? Higher RMS, I know the design and the reasons for the different little ques other motors don't have. I know the owner too, so that helps, probably makes slightly biased. I'm not putting the evil down. Price per performance doesn't seem to be there. Maybe if the evil was 550-600 tops it would seem better. If you know the owner and are so close how come your not running their subs? Just curious He won the IA contest. the dream system what ever what ever? yes

Shooting the shit from time to time doesn't warrant me asking for shit. Plus I'm getting subs from IA for free. So I'm kinda obligated to utilize the gear they give me. It wouldn't be right if I didn't rep them.

I will say, the only drivers I'd consider out of this bunch is Evil and SHD. My only hands on with 4" coiled drivers were my buddies custom 4hp 15's. Man those things got sexy low.

Do it man. I'll my teammate staying with my I'm sure, but I should have a free couch. I'm like 30min from the show, and 15min from the bikini contest/burnout contest(at the local dragstrip.) -
I'll still take the SHD over the evil. Though a head to head would be nice. Wonder which would be more musical

I have to change it up if i want to compete when I get back. 2 18's put up some pretty good numbers for me but nothing like what I will be facing in competition in the states. Oh and my truck hates me now. Take a look at this. dude, that's getting down! -
