I love those bodies.

Thanks Aaron. I got rid of the RF 360.3, I decided to go with the Alpine INE-Z928HD that has the steering wheel control harness for my car. It doesn't have nearly as much control as the 360.3 does, but it will work for me. Thanks. The new Passats have rediculously thin sheet metal! When it rains it sounds like a hale storm in my car. I've heard of people just leaning on the car and denting it. Damn, that sucks. The one I was driving was pretty solid. I guess it was a mid level model. Drove like a champ too. 100mph was amazing in it.

I didn't think they'd be thin as being described here. I had one for about month but it was the previous body style. Got some nice gear man. Off to a nice start.

Looks sick. It's looking for my ideal design though. Doesn't seem like I'll enough room to port over the top. -
Kicker made some really nice comps. Nothing wrong with mainstream stuff except pricing. I ran a JL13w0 or 3 can't remember on one of the older RF P500.2's Great sounding setup. Then I went diamond audio and Memphis amps.

Wellllll If you already have the subs (D2) I'd opt for a single big amp like the BC5500, but pending the box size, you may not reach those subs full potential. I dunno... If you had D1's I'd opt for two BC3500's, I ran two strapped @.9 nominal. Definitely power houses. You can't always count on rise, like it has already been stated. Hopefully I'm not beating a dead horse.- 38 replies

Yes sir. You just need the I-bar mounts to set it up for side terminals. I ordered these. http://4xspower.com/shop/terminals/555-i-bar-multi-top-post-and-side-terminal-adaptor/

I need to stop putting this off. I'm just intimidated and a bit overwhelmed. I guess I'm still butt hurt over flipping my car and losing all that hard work. I went out to my truck today and stared at it for about 20min. But I free aired the 18 today and played with my new HU, kinda got me excited a little. I have no problems with running the wire, putting the HU in, running comps batts ect. But no clue where to start on this wall lol.

Please tell me how TM's pricing is better lol? 6 0ga input terminals were $15 cheaper shipped than TM's. Oh, I also got them in less than a week.

Well that block will make things much easier. I'm going to draw it out lol So, lets say heres the block I I I I I I I I I I I I I I You could just place 3 500a fuses, you could do 6 150s, etc. There are many options. Remember, fuses aren't as crucial as they may seem. With that large of a system, I'm going to "assume", you know some what of what you're doing, so as long as you don't connect the pos and neg of the same battery, and say Oops, then you're fine man. That amp is rated to pull a MAX of 500amps. But you will never see this in real life. I would say, a 300 amp fuse per 5500 would do just fine. So that would be like, two 150s per amp basically, or one per hot wire. I'll disagree with this. I think each amp should be fused individually. I've never liked these big fuse blocks for multiple amps. If one amp goes crazy and fails it could back feed to the other amps. Well lots of shit could happen.
