Bromo, I am a bit confused. Is this an enclosure you wanted to sell me? Or is it something you were just going to draw up for a brother? I'm good with wood, not enclosure dimensions, and there are none on the above picture Thanks buddy -
Bromo, I am having a terrible time figuring out this CD player. I have had 15 different cd players. Alpine 7998, Eclipse CD8454, etc, etc. This one is by far the hardest to figure out. I know there is a switch on the side to access pro mode. Either way I switch it, all of the controls stay the same. I cannot find out how to turn on or off the internal amplifier. I cannot find the 3 Way Active Crossover. I cannot find the LED lighting options. Basically there is a lot of stuff I cannot get access to. I have read the manual. It just says to use the multi control to access everything, and this is not working. I know you are already giving me a hand on the enclosure, now I need your help with this damn cd player. It looks like I'm a novice, although I'm not Thanks brother, for any help you can throw my way

That is why I needed some help bro. Bromo, do you think you could help me work up an enclosure that will work? I can go higher than 21", but the width and length cannot change. I would mean a lot to me if you could help me out brother. Thanks -

Make sure you click on the link to see the enclosure design. I will do a build log, as soon as I'm positive about the enclosure dimensions. -

Ok, so here is what I have drawn up. The box will sit between the rear seat and center console, and rest upon the rear seat. Let me know if my math is correct. I am using online calculators, and could be way off. Box Volume will be 2.72 cubic feet Sub Displacement will be 0.14 cubes Port Displacement will be 0.51 cubes Net Volume will be 2.07 cubes Port will be 2" wide, 16.5" tall, and 27" long tuned to 32Hz. My link -
It's spendy, but you get a really cool bottle as a souvenir. The Clase Azul Ultra is $2,000

Tequila is my favorite liquor. The best I've ever had is Clase Azul Resposado. I had it in Cabo with my wife and it is damn good. So i brought some back to the states. http://www.tequila.net/tequila-reviews/reposados/clase-azul-tequila-reposado.html I drink Sauza Hornitos just about every weekend. I find it to be on the level of Patron, etc, etc, for about $25.

I do appreciate your input 98GMC and Denim. I am still wondering exactly how big and what frequency I should tune it to, expecting the cleanest sound possible, with 400 RMS. Clean and accurate are what I'm looking for. I'm sure the output will be more than enough. And yes I do want it ported as you fellas suggested -

Thanks Denim. I believe I can get 2 cubes after displacement. The rear cab of the super crews are pretty huge. So 2 cubes tuned to 32Hz will get me the cleanest sound possible, out of a ported box, from your experience??? Anybody else feel free to chime in with your thoughts. Thanks again -

I just purchased an SSA DCON 12S4, and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival. It will be driven with an Orion XTR 375.2, getting about 400 watts RMS. Components will be Dayton Audio RS180's driven by an Arc Audio FD2100, and Morel MDT-12's driven off of an Audio Art 70.2. The source unit is a Pioneer DEH-P880PRS. The sub will be installed in a 2002 Ford F250 Crew Cab. I do not want the enclosure sitting up on the seat, so I will be building a custom L shaped box that will sit right behind the center console up onto the middle of the rear seat, with the sub firing up, as well as the vent. Basically I listen to all kinds of music. Hip Hop, Rock, Reggae, Country, Oldies, Jazz, etc., etc. I am sure the output will be more than enough moving up from 2 Arc Audio 8's, and I want it to sound super clean. I am just wondering what those of you with experience with this sub think I should do for the enclosure. How many cubes? What frequency should I tune it to? Should I polyfill it? Thanks in advanced fellas!
