If it's for daily I would probably say don't do a wall. I didn't think it was going to be that bad having the back glass blocked. Well it was such a pain. I would imagine there being plenty of room back there in the hoe. Why not do something just below seats like 2 18s? Icon 18s? Get a good quality amp and make a well designed box and you should be set. I don't know about hair tricks, but there's only one way to find out. DO IT! lol There are so many variables for hair tricks. Box, box placement, tuning, subs, power, vehicle's cabin volume, etc. etc. I've been there with the wall and it was awesome to look at, but was always in the way. 2 18s is still very different for most places and will definitely be loud as balls with the Icons.

Yea there are tons out there. I actually did one in my trailblazer with 4 15s. I only had it in there for about a month before I sold the tblaze lol

I talked to my stepdad about getting the vvme subs in our boat. He was all in lol So what's your opinion of them? How do they sound? I'm not sure if you said it in your build log, but what's the box specs?

I never looked in the trunk. I would guess 2 12's would be able to fit though.

Although me and my dad had his friend's cruze for a week and to us it seemed a little crammed. I personally like bigger cars, so I didn't like it all that much. It was pretty nice inside and was a cool little car other than the space issue. Which might not be not be a problem with you, but that's just my opinion on it.

I have one of those stinger volt meters hooked up to my amps and I can see what my amps voltage reads. Its only $30. I think it's a good thing to have.

I have 2 crescendo pwx 10 mids single 8ohms that have never been powered or mounted. I bought them a few months ago along with some 6.5s. I used the 6.5s but never the 10s. I was planning on putting them in a wall in my trailblazer, but never completed it lol. I now have a new car and it's a lease so I'm just going to sell these cause they won't fit anywhere I would like them too. just trying to get 110 shipped anywhere in 48. I do live in Hartland, Mi. I will be in Flint during the week for college. Also occasionally in monroe at my dad's. If you are interested and near let me know and we can me up.

So I was just about to buy the AudioControl lc2i and I saw that it has "2 speaker-level inputs with 400 watts RMS power handling". I have 2 crescendo bc2000s and going to have 1 crescendo c1100.4. I won't be using them all at full output, but somewhere around 3.2k rms all together. Does that mean it can be hooked up to speakers that are getting up to 400 rms or does it mean that it can only support amps up to 400 rms. I looked at reviews to see if others have used with more power and they were all under 600 rms. I didn't see any other LOCs that support more power. Will the lc2i work? I don't plan on going active. Just keeping the components passive. I have upgraded sony package, but I don't know if it has an external amplifier. I'm going to be working on my car soon so I will look for it then.

Ohh gotcha. The boat is in storage for winter. When we get it back home I'll look at allbthe compartments and see what I could do. If nothin I'll jus stick with a pair of 10s. Thanks m5.

I love 300ss!!! I do also like to play lower. It's something none of my friends can do and it's funny when they hear a low song on my system and they're dumbfounded because they didn't even know that song had good bass. They're mainstream systems don't even compete to any of our types of systems! You can have someone design a box for you if you don't have skills. Wouldn't a 4th order be to large for his vehicle though?

You got pics? I'd like to see that! I mean he likes the bass and he thinks the 2 10 Es sounded pretty good, but too me ehh no lol. I was just thinking something like vvme's would be good since they're cheap and not really going to be pushed hard at all. I think this in a custom box would do very well for him and be good enough for me.

Ill look into seeing if my car has that. Is it on the back of the stock head unit? I was just confused on if I could run higher powered amps from it since it said 400 rms.

Keeping the stock hu. Don't you tap into the rear speakers well for me at least. Then run rcas from LC2i to the amps. Not the outputs on amp. Plug into inputs.
