Pepboys, autozone, radioshack, you can buy a toggle switch from any of them. Better off just ordering one off Ebay, as I saw a few switches for like $15 each at pepboys Nvm radioshack has them for a decent price Yea that's why I said autozone, because my friend needed like 4 for his jeep. He had a lot of aftermarket lights. He cut holes in his dash and mounted them in. He did a pretty good job.

Both will be shipped in their orginal boxes. SSA Zcon 12" D2 Barely used. Had it in for about 3 weeks. No clipping. Low power due to big 3 not being completed. Only flaw is some paint on 3 of spokes seen in pic 4. May be able to take it off. $420 plus shipping Next is Crescendo BC2000 Never used below 1 ohm. As much used as the Zcon. I had a bc2000 and I broke something internally and sent it in. Something happened where they lost it and Crescendo sent me a brand new amp. This is the one. I just installed it in my car 3 weeks ago. No scratches. Looks flawless. $400 SHIPPED Thanks for looking

I'm pretty sure you just need a toggle switch from autozone. I think I understand what your doing.

I party hard on the weekends but during the week it's mostly all just straight college and homework. I feel I have everything under control and I'm not over doing the partying and effecting school. Lol

Ohh really? I thought you could. I have no idea so probably not since you guys say. I didn't know the ssf is set at 28hz. -

Well two dual 2 ohms can be either wired to a final ohm load of .5 ohm or 2 ohms. With the crescendo 5500, it'd be stupid to run it at .5 for daily and wouldn't get full power at 2 ohms on that amp. I just found out that the rf is 1 ohm stable. I thought they were 2 ohms stable, but I know know that they are 1ohm stable. Given that I would definitely strap the 2 rf25000s. This can provide a final ohm load of 2 ohms. Go with the rockfords -

Get the Bc3500. If it's for daily, there's really no advantage in running 5500 vs 3500. I doubt you would hear a difference in output. The 3500 will give them plenty of work out and save you some cash. If it was comps then I would suggest the 5500. -

Your final ohm load is either going to be 2 or .5 ohm. I would do something along the lines of 2 crescendo bc2ks strapped. -
Also to add to dbsupra, Baltic birch is lighter too. With that batt, 3 amps, and 2 50lb subs it's going to be around 225 lbs. then a big ass box for the subs will be pretty heavy too. I had a very similar system as you. Same subs and bass amps with a c1100.4 and a bigger battery though. This is what made me get rid of my system the weight was sagging down my car really bad. I'm not sure if you thought about this or not. Do you have suspension upgrades? To help reduce weight Baltic birch would probably be a good place to start. In my area it's $34 for a 4x8 sheet of mdf. I called a lumber yard near me and they said they can order 13 ply Baltic birch for $75 for me. It's really not that much of a difference and can help save some weight. Also try to keep things like battery closer to above the tires.

Ohh alright I get what you saying now lol

3 18s might also a choice too. What do you mean by height, armykyle? For the x or z v.4 15s I would say they need at least 16 cubes if your doing 4 15s. Maybe squeeze in 2 more cubes and you could do 3 18s. I'd say 3 X 18s However, I don't know what type of truck you have and the way things will fit. I'm just going by cubes.

Nice fix man! Did it fail because it wasnt the right recone? Didn't quite catch all of it.

EPerez replied to nategearing42's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Is your big 3 done? Maybe too current is trying to be pulled but you can't back it up and it is causing the amp to go into low voltage which then puts it into protect. -
Go with the bigger one. It'll be more efficient.

Make sure all your wires are connected securely. What are you running sub wise and at what ohm? Also what's your electrical like? -
Amp for Fi bl 12
EPerez replied to codedrew2's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Are you planning on buying another one in the future? If not I would get a dual 2 ohm bl and run it at 1 ohm. But we can't recommend an amp with out knowing the budget. Depending on how much power you want to run, you might need to do some electrical upgrades. Big 3 is definitely a must though. -
