Yea I might even get one. Good idea pmureika!

Don't calculate with the published xmax. Calculate with 25mm which is the approximate coil overhang. Will do thank you. These subs are supposedly great. I plan to get some xcons or icons soon! Depends on my budget but Im sure you wouldn't be disappointed with the xcons!
-
By loud I mean the crazy demo vehicles and ones that are 150 db and up I guess. A nice comp set would keep up with your system and most daily ones. I usually see people run pro audio who just want to keep up with the bass and don't really care about sq. not saying your wrong or I'm right but that's just what I usually see. M5, Quentin, stephanhinote and impious need to see this. They'll know for sure

The xcons might work ill have to see if the port area is okay. Ill let you know.
-
Just letting you know so if I am right you don't waste your money!

Don't worry about bugging me. I give my phone number out here all the time because I love helping people on ssa. You can pm me anytime about anything and ill try to help you as much as I can. So back to your question? What subs do you want to get. That will determine if you can use it or not.

2 vvx 12s or 2 icon/Xcon 10s (if those are what your going to)? Hahahaha I'd take 1 10 over those vvxs!! Trust me it's going to be night and day difference with 2 10s in a proper box. You will love it!
-
I don't think that would sound all to good. Isn't pro audio used mostly for just trying to get extremely loud and not caring about sq? Your subs are not going to be extremely loud (no offense) compared to others that use pa speakers. I think a set of comps would be better for you.
-
Why would you want pro audio speakers?
-
Depends on what 10s you use. If its 3 x icons/xcons I would say no but something like 3 sa10s could fit but I would watch the gain with that amp. I would do 2 Xcon 10s. You will find out that trying to squeeze more/bigger subs into a box that really isn't optimal than having less/smaller in the best box you can have is going to suck!! You will perform much better with the better enclosure.

I'm just going off what the pic shows and what I think might fit. You'll have to check to see

Thank you!

A good idea is to take out the rear speakers so you can get more height and also take the trim off the around the bottom of the trunk opening. I was able to get about 2.5" more width and 1" more height.
-
That helps some but you'll have to do some measuring to see what the biggest dimensions you can fit through the trunk opening. From that I would say you could do 34w x 28d x 16h. Don't know if that will fit through the opening or not. IF you could get those dimensions you could fit a box with it being 4.4 cubes tuned to 32 hz with 87in2 of port area. Which should be good for most 12s And of couse it would be better if the dimesnions are bigger.

I wouldn't either, Especially in a tank top? What the.. is he crazy haha. One mistake and there goes all your skin.. Sweet! Yea your gonna get some serious road rash and broken bones if you fall. At least he was wearing a helmet lol

So I purchased the Windham Weaponry MPC AR-15. I am beyond happy! I bought it yesterday and it is shipping out today and I should arrive at the dealer either tomorrow or Friday. I bought it from sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com they have great prices and excellent customer service. I called to make sure that my dealer was on file and an actual person answered the phone (which I like) and gave me all the information plus more about the processing and shipping. Also my dealer was a great guy. My stepdad and dad both know him and bought guns from him. If anyone is looking to buy a gun, accessories or maybe ammo(not sure on their prices compared to others) you should definitely look at the SOSS. Also if anyone is in Michigan around the Brighton/Howell area James Kotas is a great dealer to work with.

Well what box are you comparing it too? A shitty ported prefab which has like 10 in2 of port area for two 12s? Of course it's going to look big. You have "a lot" of port area compared to them. If you want you can post the max dimensions and i can see how much room you really have.
-
Yea or michigan they suck DICK! but that's crazy I would never try something like that!
-
21 business days is what they say. I don't know if they're back to that yet. Says it right when you buy it. http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/products/mayhem-12-ascendant-audio-12-2500w-mayhem-series-subwoofer.html

If I were you I wouldn't go with 12s if those are your max dimensions. You don't have enough space. You only have 3.4 cubes with 56in2 of port area tuned to 32hz. That's SMALL for 2 12s. I would go with 2 10s. Some Xcons 10s sound like it would be a good setup with the saz3500.

Bump!! I wanna get some xcons or icons so someone buy this

I pmed you the box design I did. -
Yea I've thought about it, but how I do it seems to work just as good. I've never had any problems and tried to pull it off but it stayed on.

Well the box size isn't much different in cubic size but the port area is more optimal on the box I made. I don't feel 2 4" is enough for it. Also it's be a shit ton easier for you to make a regular rectangular box instead of one with a slant like that. Then just cut out panels to make it look nice. I think that's the easiest and best way but in the end it's up to you.
