Yea I also wonder this too! If I were you id state your goals. What do you want to get out of this system?

A lot of peopl love the type Rs and IA comps but we can't tell really tell you what to get since what might sound good to you could sound like total shit to someone else. Best thing to do is to go to different audio shops and listen to them until you find what your ears like

thats not what 90% of people think.. im constatntly aruing with people on facebook,. " ah that sub sucks .... " me.. no itt does not " then whats the Xmax on it" GRRRYea you have to fight with people about the xmax and the sensitivity. It's so frustrating lol

Hmm I thought I read somewhere they can use the same as the Sa series. I know it was on another forum. -
Julian just let me know that the motor was shipped and it has been a smooth buy. Thank you Julian. Good guy to buy from here!

Also the X and Z v.4 Like bigger boxes now. They can use the same box size as the Sa series but Jacob said they will do better in a larger box. For the 12s the optimal is 2.5-3 cubes. -
Welcome! Looking forward to seeing more of your products.

Google Torres box calculator and it's the first link on another car audio forum. It's much more accurate.

Yea I was wondering if you were going to do anything car audio related to it lol
-
Yea no problem. I definitely want to see some pics. You understand what I mean by build it from the side up right?
-
Just for future reference. Divide the number over the other and you will get the decimal in a calculator. Like 1 divided by 8 equals .125

That's awesome!! That river looks so cool

When building this, I would say building it from the side up would be best. In the pics the box is on it's side, but treat it like it's the bottom. I find it would be easier to build like that. Also the dowels don't have to be in the exact places I have them, but put them in the areas I have them. I used 2" dowels in the sketchup, but you can use 1.5" too. The box came out to 7.4 cubes tuned to 32hz with 127in2 of port area. Here is the cut sheet: Top/Bottom - 29" x 20" Port Side - 19.25" x 39" Back - 29" x 39" Side - 18.5" x 39" Front Baffle - 25" x 39" Inner Baffle - 23.5" x 39" Port Wall 1 - 15.25" x 39" Port Wall 2 - 14" x 39" (2) 2" Port Dowels - 3.5" 2" Vertical Dowel - 13.75" 2" Horizontal Dowel - 23.5" If you need anything else let me know!
