Is this budget just for bass?

With 38.5w x 12.5h x 17d were looking at 3.25 cubes before port. After having enough port area for a 12" you will not have enough space. You can definitely fit a 10". If you can measure out some more and see if you can fit some more space then we can see if it'll be enough for a 12".

Let me look at your dimensions and I'll let you know what size sub I would think is best. I would go with a dual 2 ohm (d2) sub if you're doing a single sub setup. I would say do the big 3 and add a group 34 or group 31 battery in the back and you should be fine on electrical. Also google your car's alternator size too see what it is. Most likely you'll be able to keep the stock alt. I can design you a box but well see what you can fit first.

Welcome man! Glad you made it here

Yes sir!Nice! I'm getting some ethos soon too. I just need to figure out if 15s will fit, if not then definitely some 12s from my understanding they like a small boxYea they do! Quentin had designed them to work well in small boxes. Have you checked this out? http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/59904-ethos-bandpass-option/?hl=%2Bethos+%2Bbandpass -
can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Lol I'll take your advice. I guess its time to invest in an OSCOPE Time to say fuck no and not buy an o-scope lol don't waste your money on it as it won't do you any good. You need to do your gain setting with you're senses. It's the easiest and best way to do it. You set all your settings where they need to be (also head unit at 3/4 volume) and then turn the gain up slowly while you listen for distress of the sub. It'll start to sound different, in a bad way, once you hit that spot then back off the gains just enough to where you don't hear the stress/distortion. -
What are those? Amps, not sure if he still has them or not.Are they like old school ones? Expensive?

I'm willing to take 575 so if someone wants me to ship I can. You will just have to pay shipping and if it comes out to a price you're ok with paying then their yours. I have original boxes too.

Comps sold locally Thread can be closed if mod sees this.

I have not used either of these. I couldn't make the comps fit so they couldn't be used since the stock speaker size is 5x7 and I didn't want to make converted baffles. Since the comps wouldn't fit the amp wasn't used. Have no use for these. sax 125.2 was used by the previous owner and has minor scratches on it. Nothing major. I have not used it, so for the buyer's sake I want to test it in a friend's car to make sure it works and everything. Don't want to sell an amp that doesn't work. Also fuses will be replaced. $175 + shipping. SA-6.5cs were not used by anyone. One of the speaker was half mounted so it has scratch marks were I tried to screw it in other wise everything is brand new. NO power has been put to this component set. $160 + shipping.

For the 4th order bandpass ethos? Good luck man! I'm excited to see some more ethos builds. -
What are those?

I had the 15. Was good but definitely better choices IMO.

Don't use the o-scope to set the gains. Use you're ears and turn the gain up till you hear stress/distortion and then back down the gain a little bit.
-
Box looks really good! But you should tell him his electrical is not even close to being optimal. He needs to quadruple his battery bank and add another alt.
-
Fuck you! Hahahah i love the 300s and I'm so jealous of this build! Good luck with it and I'm sure it's gonna be extremely nice.

Best bet would to call if and ask.

Excellent sub here. Glws

Yea ohjay pretty much said everything you need to know to begin with. A good battery would be a diehard platinum g34. It's a group 34 and should be around $200. It's from serious. I run the bigger one with no complaints. I sell pre done big 3 kits too, all you have to do is measure out the lengths of where they go (I can tell you where they go if needed). Also don't let the shop design for you. Building is fine but most shops just try to get the quickest, easiest, highest paid way and they probably won't design the best box. I can design you a box with cutsheet and 3d sketch up. You can take it there and know for sure you're getting a well designed box.

Happy birthday guys! Make it a good one.

That's what I'm thinking! I'm eager to see the amps.

Crescendo makes really good amps. I loved my bc2000s. I also had the 1100.4 but never had the chance to use it.
