No. I have bigger dimensions then that for my trunk I'm going to use and I get 6 cubes tuned to 31hz with 100in2 of port area. You wont be able to get the aero ports and subs on the front face anyways.

When you have to build the enclosure in one compartment and transfer the output to another, like a sealed trunk into the cabin of a vehicle. That is really the only reason that I can see for using a bp in a vehicle. We'll see what the experts say though... Then how come people in suv's do it with a wall? It's all one whole compartment there though. Not doubting you or saying I'm right just throwing that out there too since they're both different things. I've also heard that. Like how blow through and using the ski hole.

Do you already have the subs?? You should of went with 10s. Your box is not going to be big enough and have enough port area with those dimensions.

When is it the right time to use a 4th order BP? When are use supposed to use it and when is a reg ported box better?

If you're limited on space then have the port on the side of the subs.

No that's not gonna work. (2) 3" aeros is not even close enough to the amount of port area needed. Are this the max dimensions you can use?

I'm sure most of you know that the Decaf music can be downloaded at Ram-Designs.com, but that's only the new music he re did. If anybody wants the old music I have Zips 1-32 before he took those down. There's a lot of songs that he deleted from the new music. A lot of good music like bass ballin', Slow Decaf in the hurse, Magic by Future and more. I don't know if there's anyway I can share it with people online. But if anyone wants to send me a usb or anything like that I will put all the music on that. Also I guess if anyone trusts me, you can send me your ipod and I can put all the music on that too. On his new zips, and the songs I liked from his old ones, I went ahead and re named all the songs, so all songs have artists and songs are properly named. Decaf's new zips have the music's artists have multiple artists. I'm very anal about my music looking good for easy finding. I think I have a pretty good reputation on here and others will vouch for me that you can trust me I AM IN NO WAY TAKING MONEY FOR THIS SINCE IT'S NOT MY MUSIC!! YOU JUST PAY SHIPPING THERE AND BACK. Wow is there a lot of misinformation lol OP, whatever your next post is in this thread is please answer these questions. What vehicle and where in the vehicle is the box and everything being placed? What are the max dimensions you are willing to give up? How much power? What is you're electrical like? What's your budget? We can't help unless we know these things. Also you're getting mixed up on which will hit low better and louder and deeper or whatever the fuck you want. That will mostly depend on who and how the box is designed. I can make 10s hit lower than 18s. All depends on the box. The Xcons I feel are right there with the Xs and probably Z v.4s. The Xcons are insane with the lows (of course in the right box). I've had the Xcons and they're nuts and the Xs too (which are similar too the Z v.4s. The Xcons don't need a lot of power to get loud either. Depending on your answers to the questions above will be the path you take. Some things to think about is that 2 xcon 12s will cost more than a Z v.4 15". The boxes will be around the same for both setups maybe the 12s box being a little bigger. I saw you mention the 18? We will have to see if that will fit from your dimensions given.

I just built a box for a friend for one one of my Xcon 12s I sold too him. It's 3 cubes tuned to 33hz with 50in2 of port area and the lows are fucking nuts lol it'll play 28-45 no problem. Not sure how they do on lower volume and less port area but me and him are very happy with the outcome. It's also on an arc ks1200 at 2 ohms.

I would go with birch wood. It's much lighter which is what I needed with my build. The xcons are pretty heavy and a box of mdf that size can get kinda heavy too.

Most likely you'll be happy with some kickers, alpines or rockfords. The ia comps in the ssa store have been a big hit. Many people really like them. Same with the alpine type R comps. Not saying they're gonna be what you like but they are well liked.
