How come it wasnt right? Also what is it i exactly have to buy? I just dont want to change it out because it its all one piece and would look bad, also i want to keep the steering wheel controls.
-
Can anyone help me with the problem i still have about leaving the stock radio in? Another problem i ran into is that the whole stock radio is kind of one piece and i feel leaving it would be the best option but is it ok for a stock head unit? its a brand new car and i think i read somewhere that the new radios are pretty good now for systems. I would get a PAC (if thats right??) and set up my system that way.

I absolutely love my bc2ks!! Amazing amps
-
No problem! Jus gotta compliment a nice truck when I see one. I love the kmc rockstars, I have the kmc slides
-
Your truck looks so sickk!!! I want it lol
-
why not strap the amps and then wire both subs togther to the amps? that way you wont have to gain match and just use one amp's gain.
-
Then that's what i will do. I will try out the speakers i have now (audioque) and if i need more then i will upgrade to what will fit. As of now these sound good in terms of listening, but i'm not really sure what i like though, so i will try outt different speakers and figure what sounds best for my application. Thanks a lot alton! Sounds great. Maybe i can look into doing all this When you get time post some more pics of projects and builds. I'd love to see more!

Thats a great idea. I am doing a trunk build and if I have enough room in the back to make it look good then I hope to try that out. Will the amps get hot though? Since it's not vented the best?
-
I think your right, ill check on that. Do you have any speakers that come to mind that would be good? I have around 200

Hey first off, you do some amazing work!! In the locals car with the 3 Aq 10s how did you exactly make it so you put amps under the fabric and block off sub box? I know it's all aftermarket fabric but what did you do to make it look like that?
-
Well you guys have always said that smaller subs in right box is better than bigger subs in a bad box! I want to do it right and you guys are the pros so I have to take in every consideration you guys say even if I dont like it. Honestly I wanted to go with crescendo because it matching my amps and I know that the company itself is amazing as well as its products. I am open to any opinions that anyone has for door speakers. I have 200 to spend for 4 door speakers. I dont know what size they are but i will find out. 1 speaker per door. The only reason i dont want to stick with the audioque 6.5s is because of the 60 rms power handling. I want to go up in power since i have the power. Edit: The fusion does have 6x9s under back glass, i was thinking just leave those out and not replace them. Would that be a good decision?
-
I have 8 audioque 6.5s right now but only 60 rms each. I don't want to cut holes or anything in doors so I want to go back to crescendos mins and highs to put in factory locations. I'm really thinkin bout some xcons!!

Infiniti I30, and 1300 RMS. Very nice.Good luck with everything!

I think the same thing! So yeah if i can get the 15s to fit properly then ill do 15s but if not then 12s is second choice. Everyone is a fan of cone area haha. But I would hands down take two 12's in the proper air space and enough port area over two 15's shoehorned in a small box. OP my two XCON setup firing into the cabin should be done within the next week or so. I will have pics and vids in my build log asap. Exactly what i think about what you said first. I will definitely be looking out for that. What vehicle and power?

thanks for the input!

I am suggesting you go with XCON or ZCON 12's just not 15's. I didn't finish my thought. Ohh gotcha. I forsure dont want to get 15s if they wont fit properly.
-
I am pretty sure i am just going to buy it when lease is up. Dont worry about it man it happens lol I think i just need to measure trunk and figure out what i can fit and just go from there.
-
Scratch that its the Kicker ZR1000 model. That amp will work just fine. I suggest 12's because 90% of trunks aren't big enough to properly port two XCONs or ZCONs. I still havent measured it but i looks kinda big. How come not xcon or zcon 12s though? Just wondering why?
-
yes the amp has all that. I think you misread it. I said subs and port facing forward sealed off from trunk. I will measure tomorrow and see once i get home from college.

why icons over xcons/zcons? just wondering why it makes them more of a daily system?
-
Did i say the wrong amp name?? it's a 2 channel amp and i have been running my mids on the amp since i got it. One sec let me go check it and why do you suggest 12s? My goals are to have a strictly daily system that will play the music i said before and will get loud to ear. Meter doesnt matter to me. I obviously cant describe what i think is loud but enough to rattle your brains and feel it in your stomach/chest
