i have run both a hifonics bx1500d and bx1000d on an ava.15. the 1500d was a little too much @1ohm if you are hard on it. the 1000d (which i am running now) seems to be a better match when running at high volume for an extended amount of time. iirc the kx1200.1 does around 1400 watts @1ohm. if you set the gains properly you shouldnt have any problems. i rec. about 3.5 cuft @ 30hz lmk if you have anymore questions.....

hmmm...sounds familiar. i went to my local shop a few months ago to pick up some spare fuses and got to talking with the manager with whom i usually deal with. he remarked about not seeing me around for a while. long story short, he asked to hear what i was currently running, so we went outside. i popped in a mix cd i had and he was amazed. we got all done and he says..."i see you finally picked up that w7 we have been talking about..." i told him not exactly. when i told him it was an aa ava. and i only paid 250.00 for it he about crapped his pants. a few weeks later he asked me how to get ahold of one, when i politely asked him...."are you sure you dont want a w7..." hes never given me crap about my equip. since.....

i am new to zed audio's products and was wondering how they rated, specifically the deuce and minilith. are the ratings pretty much spot on, or are the underated? if they are underated by how much? i am going to be doing a new install over the course of the next few months and i'm trying to narrow down the equip. to be used. i am hoping to reach 1000-1200 for the sub stage and 100-150 for the comps. am i looking in the right direction or should i move on to something different? rob

so basically to achieve the power i am looking for i would have to strap 2 mini. together? if it helps the sub i have my eye on is a 15" fi q. is one mini. underated enough to sufficently power the q? again, or would i have to strap 2? thanks for the help so far guys. i am just not familiar enough with the product so i am trying to do as much homework as possible....rob

going to be doing an install in the gf's 05 grand am and she wants to go pretty big. 2000-4000 watts for the subs and a 500> on the highs. i know the stock 105 amp alt isnt going to be good enough for all this. what are some of the things i need to look for when shoping around. any help would be a great help as i hope to start piecing stuff together soon.....

the power isnt a problem, as i stated i didnt wanna run anymore than 1500. hoping to run around 1000, that way i dont have to do any extensive electrical upgrades. probably gonna drop it in a 3cuft box tuned around 30-32hz out of curiousity is there something in the new lineup to keep an eye out for? shes not ready to get anything just yet......

recently added a new car to the family and i am looking a new install. i am currently running a 15" aa ava. off of a hifonics bx1000. i have been very happy with both of my products from aa, and seeing as how you guys are going to be responsible for their new lineup you would be the best source of information. long story short, i am looking for a sub or subs that come the closest to the sound capabilities of the ava. be it from the fi lineup or the aa lineup it really doesnt matter. the subs will be going in the gf's 05 grand am. she likes the "low rumbly bass" but also wants it "kinda loud." have a gross of 5 cuft to work with and say no more than 1500 watts for power. her musical tastes include just about anything from country, rap, pop, classic rock.... i was thinking along the lines of a single 15" Q.....but am open to any and all suggestions.- rob
