looks hot , not a fan of the head liner though. who would do that to a lease though. i can see a mild system and maybe rims but custom interior.
-
going by what you have in your sig, why dont u use the sax100.4 to go active with set you have installed and use the passive cross over from that to go with the other set.

What has your local car audio shop been up to?
SouthPole1989 replied to P-Dizzle's topic in General Audio
some of those wouldnt be that bad if it was someone who has never done that before but for a shop that you had to pay someone to do that is totally a different storie. -

Which company sells the best wires
SouthPole1989 replied to bobc04's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
i use monsters 402Xln, and i dunno it has the best ground shielding ,i run my rca's side by side with the power wire no alternator whine or anything. and my head unit is only 4 volts. so i would rather spend more upfront quality. -

hi, my freind that i wound up selling my xxx componot set to told me that they are making a mechincal type noise whenever they get past half volume. And he has them powering off of a sundown sax100.2 and set for 20volts at 2 ohms (200watts) now he left me them to mess around with them and i got them to not make the noise if i turn down the equalizer ( it's an alpine 9887) so was it just the speakers reaching their mechincal limit or should i tell him to start looking for new speakers. i already emailed re audio but have not gotten a response yet. thanks
-
oh yea i know, does anybody do recones for them besides re audio? they are the newer ones.
-
ok now the coil still is all shiny like new and reads 2.0 ohms for both of the speakers. but still makes noise when turned down so they are f'ed up and thats both free airing them and in what he has them in.
-
they are rated for 150, they where in some sealed prefab 6.5 box that he had laying around his room.
-
not hugely highend but us amps (ax series)?
-
throwing this out there even though they are under a company already named: helix. second guess would be audison.

hi, i just got me a 02 king cab nissan fronteir and i have around 3 ft^3 of air space to play with. i could do more but i would like to keep the ensclure below the back window line. i figure since i dont have that much space it would have to be sealed. so i am looking for sound quality but would like it to be able to drop low and be decently loud and i listen to rap and r and b. so i am wondering would 2 12" icons powerd off of a saz1500d or a saz2000d since this wont be happening until after xmas with 1.5 ft^3 for each sub be louder and cleaner then 3 10" icons on a 3000d ( roughly 750 rms on each sub) with 1 ft^3 per sub. the front stage will consist 2 of the hyrid audio Legatia Series - Two-Way Component Systems , off of 2 sax100.2 active and using a 9887 for the processing. thank you for your time.

so this price is untill november when they come in right?
-
i have a sax100.2 in the jump seat area in my truck and i have it sealed with no fans running each channel at 2 ohms and it only gets warm and thats in Florida :-/
-
any chance these will be able to handle a sax100.4 or was this designed mostly to be used the sax50.4 that is in the works.?
-
lol yea i barley passed english.lol so i should just keep doing what i am continuing doing then,

The best amps for the money!
SouthPole1989 replied to shizzzon's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
also eclipses xa series are pretty good for the money. no real high powered amps but the xa4000 125x4 @4ohm for 200 bucks thats not to bad. -
the xxx sucks, i'm sorry but i have them and the tweeter kills them. nice midbass driver but suckey tweeter, i thought maybe going active with them would help but it didnt. i am powering them with 2 sax100.2 . so if u go with the xxx i suggest go active and get a different tweeter. and this is coming from an spl stand point though. and a sq person told me he liked the tweeter but for my taste i dont like it.

amp kit?
SouthPole1989 replied to fobanginvtek's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KFX-AK4 personally i would get a 1/0 guage kit so if/when you upgrade you dont need to upgrade the wire. but that one will work for what you need currently.
