ya the box is 24" high...and its going in an 04 ranger edge
-
well not really, i still have to double baffle it, and carpet it. its 4.5 cubes, 67.5^2 inches of port at 34 hz.
-
mines 4.5 at 34... i wish i could get rid of the hump in the back of my ranger, my box sits above the window like yours did, but theres no way i cn fix it
-
looks alot like the box for my btl, what are the specs and hows it sound?
-
nope, dont have it hooked up yet, that should happen in like two weeks, im saving up for a yellow top, and my parents are buying the wire for my birthday, and thats in like 10 days.. for power i have a 20.1

what is the cutout diameter one?
-
well i started my box today for my 15" btl fully loaded, and i almost finished it (i had to work 1-9 today) my sub is going to be facing forward, and im kind of worried that the basket might break, or that it may mess the box up. i didnt double baffle it today, but tomorrow i am going to, im more worried that when i hit bumps and stuff the sub will torque the box and break the screws. also, is there a way to build a support for the motor, i was thinking just building a half circle out of mdt to fit under it with some sort of support to hold it up...

incriminatoraudio.com or go to caraudio.com there are always a few for sale in the classifieds.

for 15" btl fully loaded. i cant get my comp. to take a screen shot, but the dims are... 4.1^3 45^2 inches of port ~33 hz going to be double baffled. but i have a Q, how far away from the back wall does the motor need to be, sine btls dont have a pole vent, i wouldnt thik it would matter as long as it isnt touching, am i correct?

IA 20.1 box build tomorrowwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!

ive got good pics of my btl, no install stuff yet though want those?
-
ya i wouldnt mind that big sticker, i just put the one that came with my btl on my back window and it looks kinda small
-
i actually tried out re's deal this morning when i woke up, the specs are going to be 3.8^3 56.25^2 inches of port at 34hz. how accurate is re's box calculator? and does that seem pretty decent for a fully loaded 15?

ive been using subwoofertools.com to help me figure out what my dimensions are going to be, but i have a problem. My max dims are 36x24x12, which correct me if im wrong is 6 cubes. but i cant ever get the depth to be close enough to 12 inches for it to work. id like the box to be about 4.5 cubes at around 34 hz. the closest design ive come to is 4^3 at 34hz, but that is with the xmax part at 16... im really frustrated right now.
-
basically everytime it designs a box for me, it is over 12 inches deep...
-
was that 20.1 enough for the 18? im going to be running one on my loaded 15 dual 1...i know that they can take a lot more power, but im just hoping im happy with it.
-
it finally got shipped. i cant wait
-
im right on the border of rockwall/rowlett...

im actually wondering the same thing, not so much to hurry up and get it in, but so i can have my dad keep an eye out for it while im at work... i ordered a fully loaded 15" btl, was shipped to texas. it was supposed to be sent out last week, but the quantum view thingy still only says billing information recieved -Eric R
