Dan, I thiunk that would be more than fine. Sub displacement on the 8" is very small at .034...so if you even want to 'play' with it more, play with a small 1/2 lb. of polyfill.
-
you can have it upgraded to at least the silver cone...the black cone parts are no longer available...
-
you can call our Customer Service Department at 405-624-8510 and ask for a rebuild or 'upgrade' to the new 2004 modles. What you get is a brand new woofer, and a new one year warranty covered by us directly. They are open M-F 8-5pm central time.

as far as I am awre, we have had nothing with the SX1250's...but we can look into the customers 'sick bank' as see what he has done to/with the amp, if there is a problem.....

amp cycling on and out of protection mode??

Buddies don't let buddies borrow product. Ok, so it works on another woofer, but not the new L7? Is here sure it's wired correctly? -
pics to be coming soon
-
they hurt when you drop them on your toes.... hehe
-
really depends on the user and enclosure...but if installed correctly...sure..
-
those get 90 day...and you blow one woofer per install while setting the system up? Lucky for you manufactures have such great warranties huh?
-
LOL Shane....I wished it was that easy...we'd have to tape 30 bumbells to it as well...
-
ought to slam!

The new L7's have sleeved TL for protection, 100% coverage on the rear back brace for increased strengths in all areas on the cone, enhanced motor structure and design, and a T cut pole piece, which lets it have increased power, and thermal protection and always keeps the VC in the gap. The SX over the KX, 'tuning'....you can almost anything with the DSP on the SX, and which soon will have a remote tuning ability from the dash...sort of like and EQ but for the amp...and a memory that tells working amp history, problems and possible fixes. Also lets you 'lock out' those friends that like to mess with your amp settings. Hope this helps. Tracy

that'll work, really depends more on the frquency you are desiring.

1.75 would be the smallest I would do...but with size, you will gain output.

Chris said it very well. Credence Speakers in KY 'used' to make our subs, but with slow building processes wer every slow, and return rates were too high. So we knew we had to do something drastic, and after many, many years of a partnership with Credence, we had to pull off for the better of the company and consumers. Now, we can have a product built better and faster than we every imagined. (I know seems hard to tell with our L7 situation, but that will change this week) But the place that thye are made out now, you would be amazed what othr BIG brands are made there....I won't say the names as i feel this is not fair, but ones mentioned in the top 5 for sure. many companies are seeing the cost of building amplifier and subwoofers on the US soil, and are switching. More of the big 5 will do so this year. But, all R&D, development, testing,Marketing, Sales, rebuilding of components, warranty work of electronics, etc is all done here in Stillwater, Ok. It doesn't really mean much to me where something is made....it's 'how' it's designed and developed is what does mean alot to me.
