Nick, Any chance a dual 4 ohm option will be available on the Death Rows? If the DP's have the option I would love to see this option on the death rows. Just a thought.

Where is the fight being held?

I have 2 crunch gp3000d pro's on my dp's. The box is 9 cubes net with 3 6" aero ports. Nothing really fancy done to the box, but it is absolutely retarded. The scary part is that I think I have at least a couple of clicks left in it. I'm going to be tweaking the system over the next few weeks.

I will certainly take care of doing this for you. I am leaving town on business tomorrow and will be back Saturday. I am hoping to put the finishing touch on the box when I get back. Unfortunately I am the world's worst at taking build pics because I get so wrapped up in doing the build that I forget to whip out the camera, but I think I did take at least a few worthy pics of my work. I will be in touch with you when I get back from the trip. P.S. I also plan to put this thing on the meter when I make my return. If I was doing 147's with the MOFO's on music, I can't imagine what this thing is doing. I assume Big Dave filled you in though. It's pretty damn rough.

I currently own 3 of them and I will tell you that they are some of the finest woofers I have ever had the pleasure of using. The thing I love about them is they not only have the ability to get stupid loud, but they are actually quite musical for woofers that are geared more towards SPL. The transient response that they have in my car is absolutely astounding. More over, I had my new setup in my car for one day and I cracked the piss out the windshield. Very stout woofers indeed. You will not regret making your purchase. I will be posting pics of the build/setup once I am fully completed with the project.

What is in this truck??
-
Was this statement derived from Nick or personal experience. I'm currently thinking about a few things and just wanted to be sure they could take power like this in a daily setup.
-
Will the box is already built put I will take pics when we put the system together! hmmm at 14.4v the 40.1 will do 4400-4800 so I am guessing I will give 3200 RMS to every Subwoofer. YES...... this will be a loud one guys! Will these woofers take that much power daily??

Damn, I'm a little too accustomed to the instant feedback over on ca.com. Hopefully some other BTL owners will chime in or the Fi owners.

Guys, I know the BTL enclosure recommendation for the 15" BTL is 3-5 cubes net, however I also know that required volume is also dependent on power supplied. I was wanting to know if there would be any problems with running (3) 15" BTL's in a 8 cube net shared chamber enclosure? I should have roughly 3500 watts on tap for each sub, but I will not submit them to that much power, I was just wondering what I could get away with in terms of enclosure size? This is a daily beater.

I would be using (3) 6" aero ports tuned to 35 hz. Roughly 84/85 square inches of port.

I'm not so sure about that statement because I have heard someone say something about 2.5 cubes net. Maybe I'm going crazy, but I think that's what I read. Also, big enclosures are not always necessary. Meade is using 5 cubes net per 18" BTL with 4000 watts per woofer. Like I said, enclosure volume is very dependent on available power. If I didn't have the power for them I would agree with you, but I have more than enough power on tap to go smaller, I just don't know how much smaller. Maybe one of the Fi techs will chime in.

Justin "TeamSubGoPoof" Thornton - WOW!

This is just pure insanity. I was able to hear 2 DP 12's this past weekend courtesy of my buddy Big Dave and I can only imagine what 10 would sound like with more power than he had. I'll have to drive up one day and listen to this thing. -
2002 Caddy on bagz...8 Fi BTL 18's, 2 RF T15k amps (new vid pg 31)

Steve, I know I may be quite late with this question, but how are you anchoring this thing to the vehicle? I think I saw some 4x4's or something like that, but I know something like this has to have some serious anchoring or chicken may not have a very good day in the event of an accident. I ask this question because I will be engaging in a rather large build in my Tahoe and would just like to know more about anchoring down a wall of this magnitude. -
HAHA!! The world will continue to get smaller and smaller with more and more computers being sold everyday. Bama's running 2 BTL 18's with a Kicker ZX 2500.1 on each 18 and with the right music I'm quite sure he's doing high 40's on the termlab. I'm going to bring my term to the show tonight. Due to the fact this is the internet, I will refrain from saying his name (I'll let him make that call), but he is a great guy to know. As far as my equipment goes, I'm going with something far worse than Orion (or at least that's what everyone else thinks). The enclosure will not be a T-Line due to the fact that I'll be in my little Yellow loud car. I won't say what I'm running as it will be debuted this evening, but it's going to be funny to see the chiteatin looks I'll be getting. The bad part is that I think this system has actually broken some stuff in my car!! WHOOPS!!
-
Yep, I was the gunman on the grassy null. Bama's exploder is ridiculous, I just wish the competition was being run a little differently but I understand why. The next show should be interesting I have something cheap up my sleeve for some of the locals in the 0-24 class. BTW Mr. Fleming, fantastic install and I swear if you're ever in the Gump drop me a PM and let me know. We'll go grab that beer or 2 or 3. Hopefully before too long I'll have something to display with the big boys (Bought myself a 99 2-door Tahoe), but for right now I just settle for playing with the ugly kids. Anyway, congrats on all your success and just holla at me sometime.
