Ok well one of the two 8's I have currently is having some mechanical issues so I have opted to switch brands all together to Sundown to match my amps i currently have. Right now it has two Atomic AP8's in it and the volume I'm working with is 1.8ish i think that was before displacement give or take a little. I can knock out the ports out and make them longer if need bit but it seems to be that the overall tuning should be roughly 35 hz from what i have been reading. I would run this through my bass box pro app but i dont have it loaded on any computers at the moment could someone give me an idea of what the length of the ports im working with should be? FYI the current ports are 3" diameter and i really can't change that. This is the box right now:

yeah two 9500's they do get down just a little. LOL They are not my garage subs will be powered with 2000 watts sometime this summer.

i have two of the boxes from them..... 6" double shot and a 12" double shot. toooooo expensive but the 6" DS is really fun to fvck around with

good call on the custom vc's but i have figured out something else to do im gonna do 1 8 ported on a 1500D and if that doesnt work for me too well then screw it im gonna ditch the back seat and go for broke HAHAHAHA

not sure if this is the right spot but anyways any of you guys try to fit 1 or 2 of these under the seat of a pick up before? the truck actually is a 2006 F 150 super cab.....dont get it confused with a super crew. Im gonna try and figure out the box today and i just thought of using these i was going to run two 8's ported off 1 SAZ 1500D. im also considering two RE 8's too but i figured the AA would handle the power better than the RE's. Anways the other question i have is how much room is good to have between the cone and the floor of the truck. cuz i know i should beable to fit the RE's in there but the AA's are going to be tight as they are a bit taller in depth than the RE's Thanks

i used monster cable RCA's on my 1500D i love them. and ive had them in there for about 4 years now. the wife has some cheap ass knu ones and i wanna rip them out big time.

On the next run of them... probably within 3-4 months or so. It is a very close match -- the face is exactly the same. The side has a few more fins... the big difference is that it is 10mm taller and has a BUNCH of fins under the face. ok cool. so if they were flush mounted you really wouldnt see any difference then i take it

kinda off topic but when does the new heat sink hit the 1500D and the 100.4? i still need to pick up those amps and id like to get them before the heatsinks change and then they dont match the 1500 and the 100.2 i have now. I know i saw it posted someplace but i cant remember where i saw it. Thanks

true that rich..........i just dont like the way the place is handled as of late.
