And fifteen Powermaster 16 volt batteries.

It looks like Chad has been busy getting his other site up and running. Got to admit it's looking good. http://www.epiksubwoofers.com/ Hopefully he'll get around to Ascendant Audio's website when things settle down enough for him.

40 MLI-65's? Iraggi did well with 6x9's, I am sure rogowski can do something nutty with 6.5's. He'll probably show up with his "Bakers's Dozen" from his testbed that he posted awhile back. Ya never know!!!!

I would suggest narrowing down the problem a bit more. It's either the TV, the receiver or possibly the cables. Hook up a DVD player with component out directly to the tv. Is the problem still there? Then the problem is the tv. If the problem is gone then it's the reciever. Also try a different set of cables to see if they make a difference.

I take it you're trying to convert the HDMI from your receiver to RCA's on your TV. That is going from digital to analogue. That can only be done with a converter box. The cost will depend on what type of RCA's you are referring to. Are they the red, white, yellow (composite) ? Or the red, green, blue? ( component) ? The first thing I would try if your RCA's are the red, white and yellow ones, is get another yellow video cable. There are 2 types of yellow video cables. One has a sheild and the other doesn't. Try the sheilded type. It is thicker in diameter then the red and white cables.

How long have you been working for Daniusoft?
-
Glad to hear it all worked out for you.

I recommend that you state what frequency you want to tune the box to.

I haven't dealt with them but I noticed there is some negative feedback about them. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...sound\.com Just something to be aware of. -
Always glad to help a fellow member.

Hopefully he's smart enough to come through on his commitments to you since this guy was so easy to track down. With having his name, address, phone number, date of birth and all his other "personal info", it would be easy for the police to knock on his door. We'll see how this turns out.

The only midbass with the XBL^2 I'm aware of is the Mpyre 65M. Creative Sounds stocks them. http://creativesound.ca/details.php?model=65M. With the future of Mpyre in doubt (website down, not answering emails) get them while you can.

Under the IXL series it says ""coming soon"" Whenever it happens it'll be worth the wait!! http://mach5audio.com/index-1.html

My bad. I had the wrong cubic feet entered. I edited the post to the correct lengths.
-
39 x 6.25 32hz = 41.00" 33hz = 38.00" 34hz = 35.00"
-
39 x 8 32hz = 54.25" 33hz = 50.25" 34hz = 46.50" 39 x 5 32hz = 31.75" 33hz = 29.50" 34hz = 27.25" All assuming 12.3 cubic feet net.

This calculator says 44 inches http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31 WinISD says 48 inches.
-
WinISD says 27 inches long will tune to 33 hz. I used the one at carstereo.com and it says 25.5 inches long. I'm not sure where you're going wrong with the calculations. You must be entering something wrong somewhere.
-
If the port is 39.5 x 5 inches, then 13.68 inches long will tune a 12.3 net cu. ft. box to 41 hz. 33 inches long will tune the box to 31 hz. I'm using WinISD for box modelling. What program are you using?
-
If the port is 39 x 5 then my math shows the port needs to be 33 inches long to tune 12 cubic feet to 31 hz. The port area is 195 sq in, not 192. 14.54 long would tune the box to 41hz.
-
I use WinISD version 0.50a7. There is a new version 0.6 but it's pretty buggy at the moment. Version 0.50a7 will get you close enough to what you want to know.
-
The internal box size minus the port is 8.5 cubic feet asuming 3/4 inch material. If the length of the port is 29 inches then it's tuned to 33hz.
-
How can the port be 25.5"x23.5"x29"? If this is a slot port then how wide and high is the port and then how long is it? Did you mean the port is 25.5 high by 3.5 wide by 29 inches long?

Hi Mark, In the T/S specs the xmax is not listed. Just curious how much it has. Thanks.
