$70 shipped until tomorrow evening, if it doesn't sell by then I will likely end up keeping it or selling it for more.

Up for sale is a Blaupunkt VA2100 2-channel amplifier. 100x2 @ 4 ohms 150x2 @ 2 ohms 300x1 @ 4 ohms bridged 9/10 cosmetic 10/10 functionality Couple nicks/scratches near one of the mounting holes, see pics. Other than that, excellent condition. I'm looking for $90 shipped and no trades please. I have some feedback over at CA.com under the same username.

Any idea how much the 12 will weigh?

I had heard about a year ago that you guys would be giving the Lethal Injections a face lift sometime around the end of 2012...I was wondering if there were any updates on this front?

I believe elbows are used commonly with aero ports; its not always easy to fit them into a box without them. I think if you have enough port area it should not be a problem. I'm currently using a box with (2) 3" aeros with elbows and I have no port noise even with the ports being about a foot behind my driver seat. I also have just barely above the minimum recommended port area for aero ports of 7 square inches per cubit foot. Yes, it would be better to not have to use elbows but if you have enough port area you should not have to worry about port noise.

This is what they told me on here through PM about a year ago I tried sending them another PM but I believe their inbox is full so I decided to start a thread instead.

How about 3 x Fi SSD 18s? Edit: Just saw you probably cant fit 18s, though that might have been with 4 of them in mind...maybe you can fit 3 of them without the clam shell?

Knukonceptz compression fittings

I have the two way distro from Knu that uses the same fittings and it is very high quality and I think the connection is extremely secure. -

When researching head units, I vaguely remember reading something about how when you plug in an iPod to some head units, you are using the DAC in the iPod and not the head unit. So in that case it would be better to use a USB drive, unless the DAC in the iPod is better than the one in your head unit. I could be wrong though, its been a while since I read it and I cannot remember where I came across this information...

I love my Phantom amps, lots of power from a tiny footprint. My components sound fantastic as well running off the 2 channel, I wish I had the 4 channel to go active. On a side note, I believe the P1000.1 actually puts out 1200wrms @ 1 ohm. GLWS

Yeah the dimensions are 13.75" x 13.75" x 29". The sub and ports are on the same baffle, on opposite ends. The ports have a 90 degree PVC elbows and bend toward the sub inside the box. There is a double baffle for the sub/ports. The ports are 18.5" end to end, including the flares. I have the sub and ports firing up into the rear window of a hatchback. It would probably be wise to do a little research to see which way other people have aimed their sub/ports in your specific car and have had success. Sub up port back, sub up port to the side and sub back port back seem like good option to explore. As was already mentioned, sealing off from the trunk would probably have good results as well, if you are willing to go that route.

If you have the room, a slot port would probably be the better option. Its easy to build, cheaper and also provides bracing for the enclosure. I do have a single SA12 in an aero ported box though. Its 1.9 cubic feet after all displacements with (2) 3" aeros, 18.5" long. It is tuned to ~32 Hz. It sounds great, no port noise and the box is directly behind my driver seat so it would be easily audible if there was any.

Single Din HU with touchscreen suggestions?

http://www.ebay.com/...a0b15b9&vxp=mtr Or you could get it new for just under $500 -
Whats going on SSA. Need some advice on this wiring/electrical decision I need to make. I was running ~1000wrms on my old setup, I currently have a single run of 4 gauge Knu OFC (~20 feet) to the back where I have a distribution block. Now I upgraded amps and I will be running ~1400wrms (changed amps more because of space constraints, bigger box so less space for amps). Amplifiers have fuse ratings of 120 and 50 amps. Now Knu claims a maximum rating of 150 amps on their 4 gauge (even though they provide a 120 amp fuse for their kit), I was wondering if I should add another run of 4 gauge to the back so I would have separate runs for each amp. Or would a run of Knu 8 gauge be enough for my mids/highs amp, it has a 50 amp fuse rating, will be running about ~400wrms off of it? Thanks for any input!

Interest in Big 3 kits?
40oz replied to RAM_Designs's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I think this is a great idea, I especially like #2 and #3. However, the brand and the CCA turn me off a little bit. Personally, I would be willing to pay more for a different brand and for OFC. Maybe you could offer both CCA and OFC at different price points for people on differing budgets and looking for different results. Just my .02 -
Thanks guys, I got something that worked. Hopefully it gets there safe.

Hello all. So I just sold a sub for the first time and I need to ship it safely. Its a 10" Icon and I still have the original box that it came in, I also still have the 4 pieces of foam that were used to keep the sub from moving during shipping. My question is, how do I reattach those pieces of foam safely and securely? I am worried that just gluing them back in place is just not a good solution, I feel that they would come loose too easily. My other thought is to cut out pieces of cardboard/foam the size of the box and stack them until it secures the sub in place. I am worried if I use cardboard there is potential to damage the surround. So any ideas, suggestions or tips are greatly appreciated.

Setting gain and ssf
40oz replied to pimpdaddy1787's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Sorry I don't mean to thread jack but I have a similar question. Are you supposed to set SSF at port tuning or half an octave below port tuning? -
10" GCON vs 12" DCON both ported with 400rms
40oz replied to boosted Josh's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
Out of those two I would go with the Dcon. But you might wanna look into an aero port instead of a slot port, you would be able to squeeze out more net volume with the same space since the aero port takes up less volume than a slot port. That way maybe you could get the optimal recommended volume for the Gcon 12" -
Brutus BRZ2400.1D or Soundstream RUB1.2500D
40oz replied to Brendon's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Why don't you sell those SA12s and buy 2 that are D4 ohm so you can buy a better amp that you can run at 1 ohm? -
I don't see how any sensible person would buy one of his subs when there are so many other options from reputable companies in the same price range. The sad part, though, is that some people probably will...
