got Quad alts today from my man Dominick.....bracket is following right behind. Cant wait to get them in! More then likely wont get the bracket till the end of this week but its good to get the Alts! THANKS DOM!! it will be nice because the opening charge on the T15k's is so brutal, i cant wait to have that HEALTHY 14.4v during "warm up". These are all 220a alts because higher "at idle" charging is necessary due to the technology in the amps. ONce they are charged they arent as demanding as the damn first charge of the day. more pics when the bracket arrives! -

ok this one confused a few people because i didnt really talk about it too much. It is a Nitrogen bottle.....it is used for the air system (suspension). You know that annoying sound you hear when i hit a switch and lift the truck? Those are the compressors filling the air tanks. With Nitrogen, that doesnt happen (as long as the bottle is full that is). Basicly you drop a regulator on it, turn it to your desire, in this case about 180-200psi , and just go. Not only does this eliminate the compressors from kicking in, it also, IMO (from experience) is more stable. Its a molecule thing thats for another day....anyway here it is goin in. Of course when the bottle runs out, the compressors STILL work and will kick in, filling both tanks in back AND the nitrogen bottle (although full of air). first pic is a repost from a few days ago, but a refresher so you can see how ugly the tank is (they always get exchanged in so chroming or painting isnt an option) Here is the spot, i HATE to cover up the xover's like this but i had no choice. You litterally cant bring anything in this car unless its in your pockets so there is no room anywhere else lots of pics of differnt angles but its hard to show you guys in real life how it looks....this still doesnt paint the correct picture. It looks and works GREAT!! -
x3..oh and i cant wait to get some of all of the above items! you know the address!!

here is todays SMALL update. Nick-nacks getting closer and closer to being done. Door sills installed today, the ones that i flattened out (used to say Cadillac and had a raised "grip") and i had my man Chris finish the smooth and paint for me. After wrapping the kick panels and running the visor monitor wires, i was FINALLY able to button both sides up. I still have little things to do but i am VERY close! Again i hope to get wheels and brakes on this thing within the next few weeks. Bear with me here, its very hard to get a nice picture of something that is BLACK. Ill do my best though. by the way if you dont know what a door sill is, its that shiny black piece right under the seat and runs between the B pillar and kick panel. -

slight update...still waiting on the (custom tailored) bottle-sock for the nitrogen bottle. I decided to get the Kick panels wrapped tonite. I know i might make it look easy but DAMN this chit is no joke. This isnt no cheap ass vinyl that basicly melts into place, this stuff is stiff one way and stretches a LITTLE the other way. Anyway they are ugly before they are pretty but here goes. -

OK everyone, i hired my man Mark LaFountain again to build me another site and so far i REALLY like it! He is REALLY GOOD!!! Yes i know i drive an SUV but other then that i care about the planet so dont give me any crap I will reduce my tahoe driving to make up for it. Im hoping to drive the honda more anyway. So please visit www.greenerplanettoday.com and also, please help me get the forum up off the ground!! I dont really want any of the crazyness that sometimes happens on car audio forums so if your a mature adult, or at least act like one then join up and help me make that site as good as this one is! If you know anyone else interested tell them to join too! thanks!!

here is a little something i made to show how the caddy is coming along. Everything is bolted in i just have a few items to buttom up before its ready to hit the street (for more work ) anyway it just shows how everything works including the remote switches, internet, LED's etc......shows the interior a little better when its in motion compared to the pics i post. anyway, if you have time to watch here it is oh and this thing DOES pound!! sounds incredible doing it too! Not much slap in this vid though sorry! -

small update.... B pillars needed to be in before the crossover rack and the crossover rack needed to be in before the wall trim.....and all that has to be done before the console gets bolted down. Well, the B pillars are done...i have a small mod to the old "handle" thing that is mounted right at the top but that wont stop me from getting the interior put back together. I also have Kick panels to wrap which will be no problem. A few misc. items to take care of and its ready to drive out for brake install and a little more interior (rear doors, rear hatch). Chicken wants to buy his own new rims - so im not dealing with that at all. Im getting REALLY REALLY close Center console is IN the truck and bolted down!! Here is the Carputer all mounted and wires cleaned up. -

yup im getting VERY close here is a few BORING pictures that if i didnt show you guys, you would think it just wired itself up These remote controlled buttons RULE, F@CK toggle switches!! before install i checked each and every wire to make sure they were doing what they were supposed to. oh and BTW every one of those wires was solderd and heat shrunk (as usual) Basicly its like this: Remote 1 1: Amp 1 remote amps turned on one at a time due to current draw during "warm-up" The remote from the deck triggers the relay and the wireless box supplies the power when the button is hit. In other words, even though the wireless turns the amps on, it STILL needs the deck to be on for that to happen. 2: Amp 2 remote same as number 1 3: Air Compressors so they can be disabled (and dont come on in the middle of the night for example) 4: Disables the Switch-box so if he or someone else drives, it cant accidently be triggered. If you have ever hit a switch unexpectedly, or had the box fall on the floor and trigger it at 65mph, you know what i mean. Remote 2 1: Blue LEDs and Digital Voltage Display on/off 2: Onboard PowerMaster Intellecharger on/off (eliminates the danger of having an outlet by the gas tank. Plug it in THEN turn it on with the remote) 3. Carputer Hard-Shutdown (in case the carputer freezes up he will be able to turn it off and reboot. The PC is buried so there will be no access to the button. 4. N/A - Future use.... -

ok MORE misc. wiring.....there will probably be another relay in the mix but here is 7 - i also didnt want to use toggle switches so i went all remote. This is a pretty dope little setup from Oznium.com i bought another remote and box so there will be another one in there soon. It should be here tomorrow. I posted these to show i have been working a little and not just sittin on my ass all day
